It would work for me cause yellow jackets like to make their nests in my porch on the ceiling and the tops of windows, always having to spray them with soapy water.

Your views are not going to be good, due to this being way too long. You could have done this in 8 -10 minutes. I skipped thru most of it, to see what I deemed important. I still gave you a like tho, but really, if your want to build your channel, respect people's time. Good content tho.

Try using Murder Sauce, and your Swiffer sheets will be empty. It's amazing and cheap to make. Crisco, DE, and a few drops of Eucalyptus oil. I've gone 2 years now with NO hive beetles in any of my hives. Look it up. It will change your world.

Appreciate your channel! Can you show your solar wax melter in a future video?
@FunnyBugBeesandWoodWorks15 күн бұрын
I will. I think I am going to build another one soon. I have some ideas I would like to try and the one I have now was just thrown together using scrap to do a test run. I have decided this thing is priceless. After doing the boiling method the first couple of years the solar method frees up my time and I get a cleaner product faster without doing anything.

New sub new bee owner here in SC. You sound just like my older cousin. I have yet to get a full jar of honey I like your table idea where did you buy your net filter?
@FunnyBugBeesandWoodWorksАй бұрын
I ordered them because I use them for my wax as well. I carry one when I inspect and put my burr comb in and then drop it off in my wax melter and it comes out super clean and I don't have hours heating up wax on the stove and having to filter it 4 or 5 times. I think you could get a paint filter to do the same thing from Lowe's.

WAY TOO COSTLY, JUST USE A USED 2 LT SODA BOTTLE, BAIT IS SWEETENED WATER, EVEN ADD MEAT , and a squirt of dish soap,WITH TOP HALF INVERTED, IT TOO CAN BE MADE TO HANG...It draws them in they get trapoed and when full toss out

My Grandfather had 209 stands of hives back in the 1960’s and he had to place barbed wire around his bee yard with 240 volts powered fence around them to keep the bear out : it was 40 feet behind his house .; it worked very well to get the bear “outa there “ !!😂

Well thank you. We did deep hive inspections on 150 hives last week. Girls look good. Pulled a few frames that gave us 100 lbs of honey and got it bottled and sold to our distributors that were out. Had to build some more equipment because I was about out and I had knee surgery Wed morning so I am almost back up and running. Going to check traps today and hopefully all of them are full. Thank you for checking in on me.

Im glad someone is catching bees. I have not seen one bee in our area . Im getting bees in may and i usually only see my bees. Lost 3 hives in fall . It was too warm for our area and yellow jackets were very bad. All 3 hives absconded.

That sucks. Warm winters are harder than cold ones in my opinion. Bees are working and they don't find anything so they are killing themselves for nothing. Queen isn't replacing them because the days are to short so she isn't laying and it does gets cold the cluster is to small to keep them warm.
