I would recommend adding a brace at the bottom, it will help with the flex.

@@dallascowboys9430probably like 100-150 in mods not very expensive the rest would just be cosmetic, but all you really need is a sprocket, carb and engine bolts upgrade, your probably looking at 70-80 bucks just for those 3 to make it reliable

@@SUBZX6R if your talking about the manifold, I had a 26mm manifold already on there from when I installed my mikuni clone carb, so I just used that, but you would need to get an adapter if you want to install a nibbi carb

@@flytsckoolcarter1771 when I made the video I did have a 26mm mikuni clone on there but no it wasn’t to big for the bike, it ran just fine, but currently i have a 22mm Nibbi carb and it runs much better, I suggest go with the 22mm nibbi instead of the 26mm mikuni clone

Great video, been wanting a Honda Grom for a while now but too expensive. I started looking for other options and found the vador boom is the best for the $$, for half the price of a Grom I can use the rest of the $$ for upgrades and make it look cool. Right now I ride a kayo td125cc, small bike but fun to ride around in the city. From Washington too I'm glad this video popped up on my suggestion I didn't now these bikes were this capable, with two humans and fast, possibly more upgrades for riding faster too maybe!

How is the suspension compared to the grom. Is the seat comfortable.

@@charlesrupe3001 the suspension feels good, the seat is comfortable, but after an hour or more than the seat start to feel stiff, it feels just like the 2020 model Grom, because it has that hump on the seat, the 2021 and up models of the Grom has better seats because it’s flat, it doesn’t have that hump

Brother your bike looks and sounds FKN CHERRY AF, CONGRATULATIONS HOMEBOY YOU HOOKED UP THAT RIDE BIGTIME. I am really wanting one of these and installing a Daytona 210cc and changing out the breaks and break n clutch levers , all bearings and new axle bolts for the rims , pretty much take all China trash take it all apart and go over all welding and touch up any bunk spots by rewelding sand and repaint and also weld on some extra parts so the bike does not vibrate . I pretty much added up every mod I need and it came out to $4350 bucks for a fully custom boom vader that will cost me $1095 bucks cheaper than a stock Honda grom that cost $5350 bucks out the door which is slow AF and I would still want to modify it just like all other grom owners do but the difference is if I wanted to do the same mods on the grom the price would come out to $11,299bucks 🤦🏻♂️😡😤 hell no I’m not paying double for a name brand when I can build a faster nicer looking and more dependable bike for half the price with way better performance after I’ve replaced and tuned the vader, it’s a no brainer. Good video. My nibbi carb is getting installed today. I was debating between the 24 and the 22, but the 22 makes more sense, and from what I understand, it's easier to tune. You are definitely right. You don't need a bigger carburetor to make enough power.

First love the video! But caught something the might have been missed, the plastic isolator, between intake and carb, it started out with an o-ring, then the o-ring was missing resulting in it being placed in backwards. The o-ring on the carb should have been against the flat side of the plastic isolator, and then the "missing' o-ring on the isolator against the intake pipe. Am I missing something? BTW, do some speed runs with new nibbi, we'll love it!!!!

@@JamesOnWheels No air leak is good, first. But later in the video I see you flipping the black plastic piece with NO o-ring, unlike at start of video. If it's not broke, no need to fix. But if an airleak develops, first place I would look and just put in a new o-ring later. Love the vid!

Boom Vader is my first bike. Look.. it’s a long shot asking this , BUT… Can you help me install my nibbi carb , 17T sprocket , & do the emissions delete? You don’t even have to touch anything man, just sit down and show me what to do. I watched multiple KZbin videos including a lot of yours & I’m just hella scared to take it apart and I break something man. I got the after market parts I just don’t got tools and the actual step by step knowledge. I know we don’t know each other man, but it’d mean a lot man. I live on JBLM , I’m active duty brother. I can maybe sponsor you to come to my house and help me? Or I meet you some place and we knock it out ? I don’t know man, I just know you’re in my area of Washington. I just PCS’d here so I don’t know much people to even ask man. Called around at shops and they are charging 800-1000$ saying it might take a week and it may not work the way I want it too when I get it back. Idk man, I’m stuck rn. Could really use the help man..

@@supsuperman sounds like the bolts from the rear axle where they mount on the flywheel aren't put on correctly homie, not 100% but that's what I'd assume. I'd recommend taking it apart again, putting the stock sprocket back on, and seeing if you still have the issue. If so, I'm probably correct and that's an easy fix! If not, I mean it could be that sprocket but that just doesn't seem likely.

So at 2:09 I remove the exhaust, I thought I had it on video of when I took the bolt out but, your gonna need a friend (in which case was my girl) to lift up the tail of the bike and while he’s holding it up your gonna hammer out the bolt which will come out the exhaust side
