Hey I am planning to go Sikkim with my family including 2 kids. Is it advisable to take self driving car from bagdogra airport..if yes how to get a permit in sikkim for the zoom car...kindly clarify 🙂🙂

For rented cars you can get permit from the car dealer also. Or they can guide you better. It is advisable to hire a driver from gangtok for north sikkim tour because sometimes BSF doesnt allow other people to drive apart from local people.

From now to october is the best time to avoid snow. There there are risk of heavy rainfall and landslide. However you need to see the rain forecast before planning your trip

Its literally depends upon the driver 😅 sometimes car get stuck some 50 or 100 meters back. And you have to walk. Or else car goes near the lake itself.
