At the end of this video, Justin warns concerning ministries that are not connected with local church. I think this is very wise, and assume he also means local churches that are deep into the scriptures as their sole authority, who teach expositionally from the scriptures. A pastoral staff overlooking your ministry is very important for accountability.

Thank you Justin & Costi for exposing the false teachings and teachers!! I do see the appeal of these false movements because they so appeal to our fleshly desire for power and that WE might be as God (just like Satan). It appeals to that desire to be special in man's eyes. But, we cannot serve two masters.

My question is why whenever someone comments about Mark 9:38-41 (support/reference 1 Cor 12:23) you guys have no comment. I wouldn’t call you guys false teachers by far. But like you said the word is enough. And it’s clear that though there will be people who will do things in the name of Christ and not of Christ will be turned away. But that’s not to say that those who are called by the Spirt and the Spirt dwell within them can not deliver non believers from demonic possession etc if God wills it.

Hi @carmelzion1 👋 :) Thanks so much for your comment here- and apologize- but with all due respect for what you are saying- we’re not quite sure what you are asking here- nor do we recall ever purposely not answering a questions from Mark 9: 38-41. We’ve answered a lot of questions on these video .. more than many channels. If you could kindly rephrase the question - that would help. In general on this same topic- we have on one of our other videos a pinned comment which says this below on the topic ⬇️ … Please let us know more of what you are asking- Thank-You… and Lord Bless.. 💙 SO4J-TV 🔴 ★TO ALL RE: CASTING OUT & REBUKING THE DEVIL & BINDING SATAN: As far as Spiritual Warfare goes- We need to HUMBLE ourselves thru God’s Grace to Grant us Repentance & Faith (2 Tim 2:23-26, Acts 5:30-31, Acts 11:17, 2Tim 1:18) & by His Grace fully SUBMIT our lives to Christ (James 4:6-10)- and then RESIST Satan (James 4:7) with the Full ARMOR OF GOD (Ephesians 6:10-20,).. “giving no place to the Devil” (Eph 4:27) .. and “holding captive every thought” (2 Cor 10:3-6) etc. Satan is such a liar. We can say all the right words - even seemingly be getting results.. but unless we truly are submitted to Christ- we are being self-deceived. ★Matthew 7:21-23 (NASB) Jesus says, “Not everyone who says to ME, ‘LORD, LORD,’ will enter the KINGDOM OF HEAVEN, but he who does the WILL of MY FATHER who is in HEAVEN will enter. “MANY will say to ME on that DAY, ‘LORD, LORD, did we not PROPHESY in YOUR NAME, and in YOUR NAME CAST OUT DEMONS, and in YOUR NAME PERFORM MANY MIRACLES?’ “And then I will declare to them, ‘I NEVER KNEW you; DEPART from ME, you who PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS.” _________ ❌ RE: CASTING OUT & REBUKING THE DEVIL :In regards to “casting out demons” i.e. “rebuking the devil”- which was practiced by various people in the Gospels and the Book of Acts-such as: the disciples as part of Christ's instructions (Matthew 10); others using Christ's name (Mark 9:38); the children of the Pharisees (Luke 11:18-19); Paul (Acts 16); and certain exorcists (Acts 19:11-16). It appears that the purpose of Jesus' disciples casting out demons (i.e. exorcisms) was to show Christ's dominion over the demons (Luke 10:17) and to verify that the disciples were acting in His name and by His authority. It also revealed their faith or lack of faith (Matthew 17:14-21). It was obvious that this act of casting out demons was important to the ministry of the disciples. However, it is unclear what part casting out demons actually played in the discipleship process. Interestingly, there seems to be a shift in the latter part of the New Testament regarding demonic warfare. The teaching portions of the New Testament (Romans through Jude) refer to demonic activity, yet do not discuss the actions of casting them out, nor are believers exhorted to do so. We are told to “put on the armor” to stand against them (Ephesians 6:10-18). We are told to “resist the devil” (James 4:7), be careful of him (1 Peter 5:8), and not give him room in our lives (Ephesians 4:27). However, we are not told how to cast him or his demons out of others, or that we should even consider doing so. The book of Ephesians gives clear instructions on how we are to have victory in our lives in the battle against the forces of evil. The FIRST step is placing our faith in Christ (2:8-9), which breaks the rule of “the prince of the power of the air” (2:2). We are then to choose, again by God's grace, to put off ungodly habits and to put on godly habits (Eph 4:17-24). This does not involve casting out demons, but rather renewing our minds (Eph 4:23). After several practical instructions on how to obey God as His children, we are reminded that there is a spiritual battle. It is fought with certain armor that allows us to stand against-not cast out-the trickery of the demonic world (Eph 6:10). We stand with truth, righteousness, the gospel, faith, salvation, the Word of God, and prayer (Eph 6:10-18). It appears that as the Word of God was completed, the Christians had more weapons with which to battle the spirit world than the early Christians did. The role of casting out demons was replaced, for the most part, with evangelism and discipleship through the Word of God. Since the methods of spiritual warfare in the New Testament do not involve casting out demons, it is difficult to determine instructions on how to do such a thing. If necessary at all, it seems that it is through exposing the individual to the truth of the Word of God and the name of Jesus Christ. .. also read 2 Cor 10:3-6 [GotQuestions].. ❤️ SO4J-TV ❌ ★BINDING & LOOSING IN THE BIBLE ★What does the Bible mean by binding and loosing? The concept of “binding and loosing” is taught in the Bible in Matthew 16:19: “I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” In this verse, Jesus is speaking directly to the apostle Peter and indirectly to the other apostles. Jesus' words meant that Peter would have the right to enter the kingdom himself, that he would have general authority symbolized by the possession of the keys, and that preaching the gospel would be the means of opening the kingdom of heaven to all believers and shutting it against unbelievers. The book of Acts shows us this process at work. By his sermon on the day of Pentecost (Acts 2:14-40), Peter opened the door of the kingdom for the first time. The expressions “bind” and “loose” were common to Jewish legal phraseology meaning to declare something forbidden or to declare it allowed. Peter and the other disciples were to continue Christ’s work on earth in preaching the gospel and declaring God’s will to men and they were armed with the same authority as He possessed. In Matthew 18:18, there is also a reference to the binding and loosing in the context of church discipline. The apostles do not usurp Christ’s lordship and authority over individual believers and their eternal destiny, but they do exercise the authority to discipline and, if necessary, excommunicate disobedient church members. It’s not that the apostles were given the privilege of changing God’s mind, as if whatever they decided on earth would be duplicated in heaven; rather, they were encouraged that, as they moved forward in their apostolic duties, they would be fulfilling God’s plan in heaven. When the apostles “bound” something, or forbade it on earth, they were carrying out the will of God in the matter. When they “loosed” something, or allowed it on earth, they were likewise fulfilling God’s eternal plan. In both Matthew 16:19 and 18:18, the syntax of the Greek text makes the meaning clear: “Whatever thou mayest bind upon the earth shall be having been bound in the heavens, and whatever thou mayest loose upon the earth shall be having been loosed in the heavens” (Matthew 16:19, Young’s Literal Translation). Or, as the Amplified Bible puts it, “Whatever you bind [forbid, declare to be improper and unlawful] on earth will have [already] been bound in heaven, and whatever you loose [permit, declare lawful] on earth will have [already] been loosed in heaven.” Jesus taught that the apostles had a special task on earth. Their words of authority, as recorded in the New Testament epistles, reflect God’s will for the church. When Paul declared an anathema on those who pervert the gospel, then we know that anathema was already declared in heaven (see Galatians 1:8-9).[gotquestions] ❤️ SO4J-TV

Hi 👋 and Thank-You for your comment on the Justin Peters & Costi Hinn post… your right too .. we so need as Believers in Jesus the Full Armor of God .. i.e. Ephesians 6 .. :) Don’t know if you saw our pinned comment on this post - but here it is again- along with Part 2 info on “What is the Gift of Healings?” ------- ★ TO ALL REGARDING HEALING: The Bible assures us that ONLY when God’s Kingdom is fully put into place, in-the-future, will death-&-sickness-&-pain be finally removed and destroyed. Until then, it’s good and right to pray for physical healing as God’s Word tells us to do. The ANSWER we receive from the Lord WON'T be: Healing OR No-Healing.. but it will be healing NOW or healing LATER (i.e. Heb 11:39-40, Heb 11:13)-with the GRACE to live FAITHFULLY (2 Cor 12:7-10) and JOYFULLY (James 1:2-4) in anticipation of a FULL and PERMANENT HEALING in God’s NEW HEAVENS & NEW EARTH (Rev 21:1-3). We need to remember God does NOT promise us on this-side-of-Eternity Health & Wealth 24/7 (Heb 11:13, 39-40) ... as God is Sovereign (Psalm 115:3, Prov 16:9; 19:21, Job 42:2, Rom 9:18)- which Word of Faith (WoF) does not talk about. The LORD can & does Heal, but He can also call us, at times on this-side-of-eternity to share in the various sufferings of Christ (1 Peter 4:14, 2 Cor 6:4-10, 2 Cor 11:23-30, Heb 11:36-40) i.e. He sometimes uses Trials & Tests at times to sanctify the Believer, etc & many more reasons. The LORD always does ALL things for HIS Glory & for the True Believers good (Rom 8:28, 2 Cor 12:7-10).. Lord Bless.. and may we Keep looking UP!^ (Col 3:1-4) SO4J-TV :) ★Hebrews 11:39-40 (NASB) “And all these, having GAINED APPROVAL through their FAITH, did NOT receive what was PROMISED, 40) because GOD had provided SOMETHING BETTER FOR US..” (Many of the people that Hebrews was talking about SUFFERED GREATLY on this earth (not health & wealth 24/7 as the Word of Faith Movement falsely teaches). ★Hebrews 11:13 (NASB) “All these DIED in FAITH, WITHOUT RECEIVING the PROMISES, but having seen them and having welcomed them from a distance, and having confessed that they were strangers and exiles on the earth…” ★Hebrews 11:36-40 “..others experienced MOCKINGS and SCOURGINGS, yes, also CHAINS and IMPRISONMENT. 37) They were STONED, they were SAWN IN TWO, they were TEMPTED, they were put to DEATH with the SWORD; they went about in SHEEPSKINS, in GOATSKINS, being DESTITUTE, AFFLICTED, ILL-TREATED, 38) (men of whom the WORLD was NOT WORTHY), WANDERING in DESERTS and MOUNTAINS and CAVES and HOLES in the GROUND. And all these, having GAINED APPROVAL through their FAITH, did NOT RECEIVE what was PROMISED, 40) because GOD had provided SOMETHING BETTER FOR US..” ★1 Peter 4:12-14 (NASB) "Beloved, do NOT be surprised at the FIERY ORDEAL (TRIAL) among you, which comes upon you for your TESTING, as though some STRANGE THING were happening to you; but to the degree that you SHARE the SUFFERINGS OF CHRIST, keep on REJOICING, so that also at the revelation of HIS GLORY you may REJOICE with EXULTATION. If you are REVILED for the NAME OF CHRIST, you are BLESSED, because the SPIRIT OF GLORY and of GOD rests on you." ★2 Corinthians 11:23-30 "Are they servants of Christ? I know I sound like a madman, but I have served him far more! I have worked harder, been put in PRISON more often, been WHIPPED times without number, and faced DEATH again and again. FIVE DIFFERENT TIMES the Jewish leaders gave me THIRTY-NINE LASHES. THREE TIMES I was BEATEN WITH RODS. Once I was STONED. THREE TIMES I was SHIPWRECKED. Once I spent a WHOLE NIGHT AND A DAY ADRIFT AT SEA. I have traveled on many LONG JOURNEYS. I have FACED DANGER FROM RIVERS AND FROM ROBBERS. I have FACED DANGER FROM MY OWN PEOPLE, the Jews, as well as from the Gentiles. I have FACED DANGER IN THE CITIES, IN THE DESERTS, AND ON THE SEAS. And I have FACED DANGER from men who CLAIM to be BELIEVERS BUT ARE NOT.I have worked HARD AND LONG, enduring MANY SLEEPLESS NIGHTS. I have been HUNGRY and THIRSTY and have OFTEN GONE WITHOUT FOOD. I have SHIVERED IN THE COLD, without enough clothing to keep me warm. Then, besides all this, I have the DAILY BURDEN OF MY CONCERN FOR ALL THE CHURCHES. Who is weak without my feeling that weakness? Who is led astray, and I do not burn with anger? If I must boast, I would rather boast about the things that show how weak I am." ★2 Corinthians 6:4-10 "In everything we do, we show that we are True Ministers of God. We Patiently ENDURE TROUBLES AND HARDSHIPS AND CALAMITIES OF EVERY KIND. We have been BEATEN, been put in PRISON, faced ANGRY MOBS, WORKED TO EXHAUSTION,ENDURED SLEEPLESS NIGHTS, and GONE WITHOUT FOOD. We prove ourselves by our Purity, our Understanding, our Patience, our Kindness, by the Holy Spirit within us, and by our sincere love. We Faithfully Preach the Truth. God’s power is Working in us. We use the Weapons of Righteousness in the Right hand for Attack and the left hand for Defense. We serve God whether people HONOR US OR DESPISE US, whether they SLANDER US OR PRAISE US. We are HONEST,but they call us IMPOSTERS. We are IGNORED, even though we are WELL KNOWN. We live CLOSE TO DEATH, but we are still alive. We have been BEATEN, but we have NOT BEEN KILLED. Our HEARTS ACHE, but we always have JOY. We are POOR, but we give SPIRITUAL RICHES TO OTHERS. We OWN NOTHER, and yet we have EVERYTHING (Eternal Life..)." ★2 Corinthians 12:7-10 “Lest I should be Exalted above Measure by the Abundance of the Revelations, a THORN in the FLESH was given to me, a MESSENGER of SATAN TO BUFFET ME, lest I be EXALTED ABOVE MEASURE. Concerning this thingI PLEADED WITH THE LORD THREE TIMES that it might DEPART FROM ME. And He said to me, "MY GRACE IS SUFFICIENT FOR YOU, for MY STRENGTH IS MADE PERFECT IN WEAKNESS." Therefore most gladly I will rather BOAST IN MY INFIRMITIES, That The POWER OF CHRIST may rest upon me. Therefore I take PLEASURE IN INFIRMITIES, in REPROACHES, IN NEEDS, IN PERSECUTIONS, IN DISTRESSES, FOR CHRIST'S SAKE.FOR WHEN I AM WEAK, THEN I AM STRONG.” ★Romans 8:28 (NASB) “And we know that GOD causes ALL things to WORK TOGETHER for GOOD to those who LOVE GOD, to those who are the CALLED according to HIS PURPOSE..." ★Revelation 21:1-3 (NASB) “Then I saw a NEW HEAVEN and a NEW EARTH; for the first heaven and the FIRST EARTH PASSED AWAY, and there is no longer any sea. 2) And I saw the holy city, NEW JERUSALEM, coming down out of heaven from God, made ready as a bride adorned for her husband. 3) And I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is among men, and He will dwell among them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself will be among them, 4and He will WIPE AWAY EVERY TEAR FROM THEIR EYES; and there will NO LONGER be any DEATH; there will NO LONGER be any MOURNING, or CRYING, or PAIN; the first things have PASSED AWAY passed away.” Love in Christ, SO4J-TV ❤️😊

★ Question: "What is the spiritual gift of healing?" Answer: The spiritual gift of healing is the supernatural manifestation of the Spirit of God that miraculously brings healing and deliverance from disease and/or infirmity. It is the power of God that destroys the work of sin and/or the devil in the human body, such as the healings that Jesus and the disciples performed (Matthew 4:24; 15:30; Acts 5:15-16; 28:8-9). The gift of healing given to the church is primarily noted in 1 Corinthians 12, where the spiritual gifts are listed. Spiritual gifts are powers, skills, abilities, or knowledge given by God through the Holy Spirit to Christians. Paul tells the church that the purpose of the spiritual gifts is to edify other believers and, ultimately, to glorify God. God gives these gifts for His use, but in the Corinthian church, they were apparently a type of status symbol or being used to indicate superiority. Interestingly, 1 Corinthians 12:9 refers to “gifts” of healing in the plural, which may indicate that there are different gifts of healing. The gifts of healing could mean a very wide range of skills or abilities. This could be from the power to do miraculous or dramatic healing, like making the lame walk, or the use or understanding of medicine. It could even be the ability to empathize and show love to others to the point of healing an emotional wound. There has been much debate about the usage of the spiritual gift of healing among Christians. Some believe the gift of healing and some other sign gifts are no longer operative today, while others believe the miraculous gifts are still in use today. Of course, the power to heal was never in the gifted person himself/herself. The power to heal is from God and God alone. Although God does still heal today, we believe His healing through the gift of healing belonged primarily to the apostles of the first-century church to affirm that their message was from God (Acts 2:22; 14:3). God still performs miracles. God still heals people. There is nothing preventing God from healing one person through the ministry of another person. However, the miraculous gift of healing, as a spiritual gift, does not seem to be functioning today. God can certainly intervene in whatever manner He sees fit, whether in “normal” fashion or through a miracle. Our salvation itself is miracle. We were dead in sin, but God entered our lives and made us new creatures (2 Corinthians 5:17). That is the greatest healing of all.[GotQuestions]

why are we looking for demons under every rock, Was not the curse broken at the cross of Christ? Does not his blood cleans us from all sin i Believe if you have faith you just plea the blood of Jesus over Satan get the person to repent and except Jesus as Lord and Saviour and tell him to leave in the NAME OF JESUS? Why does it have to be so complicated? And those tv shows such as a haunting they always use a catholic priest and they call on mary and tell it to go and it does and they splash holy water all over the house. But the demons always seem to leave.

The New Apostolic Reformation, or NAR, is a loose collection of non-denominational and independent churches rallying around a particular set of biblical interpretations. The NAR approaches church leadership and biblical interpretation differently from mainstream Protestant denominations. Of particular distinction are the role and power of spiritual leaders, a literalist approach to spiritual warfare, and an overt interest in cultural and political control. Unfortunately, this has led to some unscriptural approaches to faith and spirituality. Growth in the NAR is driven primarily through small groups and church planting, often completely independent of a parent congregation. The movement is not centrally controlled, and many of its followers will not self-identify as part of it or even recognize the name. All the same, thousands of churches and millions of believers adhere to the teachings of the NAR. Popular teachers associated with the NAR include: C. Peter Wagner, Rick Joyner, and Kim Clement. The NAR teaches that God’s intended form of church governance is apostles and prophets, holding leadership over evangelists, pastors, and teachers. However, this has not been the case for the vast majority of Christian history. So, according to the NAR, God began to restore prophets and apostles over the last thirty to forty years. Only now, as the church is properly guided by the appropriate spiritual leaders, can it fulfill its commission. This commission is seen as more than spiritual, as it includes cultural and political control. In the NAR, apostles are seen as the highest of all spiritual leaders, being specially empowered by God. True maturity and unity, per the NAR, is only found in those who submit to the leadership of their apostles. According to this teaching, as the church unifies behind the apostles, these leaders will develop greater and greater supernatural powers. Eventually, this will include the ability to perform mass healings and suspend the laws of physics. These signs are meant to encourage a massive wave of converts to Christianity. These apostles are also destined to be recipients of a great wealth transfer (in the end times), which will enable the church to establish God’s kingdom on earth. Prophets in the NAR are almost as important as Apostles. These people have been empowered to receive “new” revelations from God that will aid the church in establishing dominion. According to the NAR, only prophets, and occasionally apostles, can obtain new revelations. Evangelists, pastors, and teachers cannot. The prophets’ new revelations are crucial to overcoming the world, and the success of the church depends on the apostles following through on the information prophets provide. Most of their prophecies are extremely vague and easy to re-interpret, and the NAR is willing to modify them, since they set no standard of infallibility for themselves. According to New Apostolic thinking, mankind lost its dominion over earth as part of the fall of Adam. So Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross not only resolved our sin debt, but it empowered mankind-specifically, Christians-to retake control of the earth. The NAR sees seven areas in which believers are supposedly empowered and expected to dominate: government, arts, finances, education, religion, family, and media. Of these, the NAR sees government as the most important because of its ability to influence all of the other facets of life. As a result, the NAR overtly encourages Christian control over politics, culture, and business. In some ways, this is nothing unusual, as people should be expected to vote and lobby according to their convictions. The NAR, however, is often accused of pushing for outright theocracy.Spiritual warfare, according to the New Apostolic Reformation, is meant to resolve worldly concerns. For example, economic troubles or health problems in a particular city are seen as the result of a demonic spirit’s influence. Prayer, research into the specific name of that demon, and other spiritual disciplines are then applied in an effort to combat this presence. This is necessary not only for the health of the region, but also because the church cannot take “dominion” over that area until the demonic control has been lifted.Biblically, there are major problems with the NAR. Claiming that Christians have access to certain spiritual gifts is one thing, but their distinctive approach to the role of apostles and prophets is a stretch from what is found in the Bible. More to the point, the office of apostle requires traits which are impossible today. For example, true apostles must be personal eyewitnesses of the risen Christ (1 Corinthians 9:1; 15:7-8), specifically designated as apostles by Jesus (Galatians 1:1; Acts 1:2; Luke 6:13), and already verified by miraculous signs (Matthew 10:1; 2 Corinthians 12:2; Acts 5:12). The idea of new revelations from God, especially those that come in the form of vague, easily reinterpreted mysteries, runs counter to the idea of a faith delivered “once for all” to mankind (Jude 1:3). The fact that NAR prophecies frequently turn out to be false suggests a false spirit behind those predictions (Deuteronomy 18:22).The same holds true for miracles: the ideological father of the movement, C. Peter Wagner, decreed the end of European Mad Cow disease in 2001-and the disease is still being diagnosed and treated some fourteen years later. The tendency of the NAR to treat spiritual warfare as a type of Christianized voodoo is not only unbiblical, but dangerous.Likewise, the emphasis on an earthly kingdom contradicts Jesus’ own declaration that the Kingdom of God was spiritual, not political (John 18:36). It places an unhealthy emphasis on political and worldly approval, rather than Christlike influence. Though it uses the word new, the NAR is actually a reworking of a very common, very old approach. Since the beginning of Christianity, various groups have claimed to have a “new revelation” from God to correct all of the errors of the present world. These movements contend that “real” spirituality or maturity or truth is found only by those who listen to their leadership. Some of these sects, such as the Jehovah’s Witnesses and Mormonism, endure and become religions in their own right. Others fade away. Much of what the NAR teaches has at least some basis in Scripture, albeit carried much further than the Bible intends. That, however, still makes those doctrines unbiblical, and Christians should flatly reject the New Apostolic Reformation’s teachings and those who choose to be associated with it. Hi @jackiecastleberry3550 👋 Thanks for your comment here - ★Re: Does John 3:13 mean that no one went to Heaven before Jesus? - ★ John 3:13 Jesus says to Nicodemus, “No one has ever gone into heaven except the one who came from heaven-the Son of Man.” This verse is somewhat difficult to interpret and is often misunderstood. In general it is also frequently used by those who want to find contradictions in the Bible. Here’s the verse in context. In verses 10-12, especially, we see that Jesus is talking about His authority and the validity of His teaching. Jesus tells Nicodemus that He has been teaching what He knew firsthand: “We speak of what we know, and we testify to what we have seen” (verse 11). Then, in verse 13 Jesus explains why He is uniquely qualified to teach of the kingdom of God-namely, because He alone came down from heaven and possesses the knowledge to teach people about heaven. Jesus alone has seen the Father, and He alone is qualified to declare God and make Him known (John 1:18). The gist of John 3:13 is this: “None of your earthly teachers can really teach you about heaven, because none of them have actually been there. However, I have been there. In fact, it is My home. I have come to you from heaven, and I have brought with Me experiential knowledge of that place. My testimony carries weight; I can tell you the truth about salvation.” The NLT brings out the meaning well: “No one has ever gone to heaven and returned. But the Son of Man has come down from heaven.” In claiming a heavenly abode, Jesus was claiming deity. Nicodemus himself had already admitted that Jesus was extraordinary when he said, “We know you are a teacher who has come from God” (verse 2). Jesus was not teaching that no one had ever gone to heaven before. Obviously, the Old Testament saints had gone to heaven (or paradise) when they died (Mark 12:26-27), and Enoch and Elijah had been taken there without dying (Genesis 5:24; Hebrews 11:5; 2 Kings 2:11). Rather, He was teaching that, of all rabbis, He had the best credentials. Jesus has direct contact with heaven; He is an expert on the subject. [GotQuestions] .. [END] ... MORE BELOW for those who are interested- _______ 🔴★JOHN 3:13 Explanation from the MacArthur New Testament Bible Commentaries (25 Vols )
★John 3:13-17 "No one has ascended into heaven, but He who descended from heaven: the Son of Man. As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up; so that whoever believes will in Him have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him."
★QUOTE by JOHN MACARTHUR: “Only someone who has been to heaven can truly know what it is like. Yet human beings, short of death, do not have the ability to visit heaven since they are confined to time and space. Thus Jesus said that no one has ascended into heaven (cf. Prov. 30:4) because it is humanly impossible to do so. John declared in the prologue to his gospel, "No one has seen God at any time; the only begotten God who is in the bosom of the Father, He has explained Him" (John 1:18). "Not that anyone has seen the Father," Jesus agreed, "except the One who is from God; He has seen the Father" (John 6:46). It may be noted that Lazarus was to return from the dead (John 11:23-24), and after the crucifixion of our Lord, the graves were opened and some saints returned (Matt. 27:52-53). These rare exceptions prove the rule. The other unique event was the visit of the apostle Paul to "the third heaven" (2 Cor. 12:2). The only one possessing true knowledge of heavenly reality is He who descended from heaven: the Son of Man. God "in these last days has spoken to us in His Son" (Heb. 1:2). [END] ... Hope this helps someone on this topic..” ❤️ SO4J-TV

Hi Jackie- In regards to the Book of Joel and the Book of Acts re: pouring out His Spirit- here is our reply to that- 🔴 "What does it mean that God will pour out His Spirit on all people (Joel 2:28 & Acts 2:15-17)?” Beginning in Joel 2:28, the prophet transitions to a description of events in the distant future (from his vantage point). ★Joel 2:28 says, “And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh.” What did he mean? Has this been fulfilled? A New Testament reference to this verse provides help in understanding this statement. In Acts Peter says this- ★Acts 2:15-17 Peter is preaching on the Day of Pentecost: “For these people are not drunk, as you suppose, since it is only the third hour of the day. But this is what was uttered through the prophet Joel: ‘And in the last days it shall be, God declares, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh.’” In this sermon, Peter connects Joel’s prophecy with the Holy Spirit’s coming and the commencement of the church. Not every detail of Joel’s prophecy is yet fulfilled, but the “pouring out of the Spirit” began on the Day of Pentecost. From that time, the Holy Spirit indwells all those who come to faith in Jesus Christ. This event marked a notable difference in the Spirit’s role from Old Testament times. The Spirit had previously only empowered certain individuals and sometimes only for a particular period of time. On the Day of Pentecost, the 120 followers of Jesus in the Upper Room not only experienced the Holy Spirit’s power but His abiding presence (John 14:16). Three thousand people believed and were baptized that day. These converts all received the Holy Spirit into their lives that same day (Acts 2:38). One of the surprising outcomes of Joel’s prophecy was that even non-Jews were filled with the Spirit. In the Book of Acts we read, ►Acts 10:45 “The believers from among the circumcised . . . were amazed, because the gift of the Holy Spirit was poured out even on the Gentiles.” God was lavishing His Spirit on everyone who believed in Jesus, regardless of their culture, nationality, or ethnicity. “All people,” as Joel had said, were offered this gift. In the future, the Holy Spirit will play an active role in end-time events, bringing to pass the other aspects of Joel’s prophecies in Joel chapters 2 and 3 (Revelation1:4, 10; 2:7, 11, 17, 29; 3:1, 6,13, 22; 4:2, 5, 6; 14:13; 17:3; 21:10; 22:17). However, the initial fulfillment of this prophecy has already begun, as noted by the apostle Peter, allowing all who follow Christ today to experience the blessing of the Holy Spirit living within them and empowering them for Christian service. ❤️ SO4J-TV

Christian lyrics do not make a song righteous in God's sight if the music is sinful, just as Christian lyrics will never make pornography righteous in God's sight. This is the fallacy, those who make sinful music and try to put in "biblical words," to deceive the God's people. Dance, music, plays, movies, etc., etc. are not neutral anymore then words or sentences are neutral.

As a young boy, we were dropped off by Dad at a Lutheran church on Sunday mornings so that he and Mom could have some private time. At the close of the service, a bus drove us off next to a Methodist church at a very timely moment. The congregants were walking inside to take their favored seats. Those times built in me a curiosity as I would, for instance, scribble in the little notebooks resting on the back of nicely tended Lutheran pews. Upon arriving home, more religious programming, aired on the TV in B&W. Their speakers encouraged me to write to any of the many religious shows broadcasted to receive whatever they were freely offering at the end of the programs. It wasn't until I was 19 years old, while serving our country aboard the USS Noa (DD 841) in the Caribbean that I was explained expertly the message of the gospel. I'd become Influenced by biblical truths I heard from one of the ship's electricians regarding the nature of the Cross. That night, I prayed for forgiveness while lying in my rack and awoke the next morning knowing something special had taken place within me. I was a new person, one who was experiencing salvation and the early effects of justification from sin. Sadly, however, justification did not lead me into the next step of God's threefold working of salvation, sanctification. Instead, after returning to homeport, I was introduced by a group of newly saved Jesus people who were living their early Christian lives the best they knew how. They were deeply attached solely to all things Charismatic with a strong leaning into the fabrications and guesswork of so many understudied radio and and TV Holy Rollers. And so, for the next five decades, my mind was saturated with all that I repetitively heard from unschooled preachers deeply attached to men like Kenneth Copeland, Kenneth Hagin, Oral Roberts, and others. They thought they understood the proper way to live a believer's life -- all of which came directly from Word of Faith and sheep/shepherding preachers from Ft. Worth, Tulsa, Dallas, Ft. Lauderdale, and others principally from the southern states. Charismatics, to a great extent, strayed, even avoided, the true next step for justified believers, the sanctification or the renewing of the mind through the study of truth, for the real battlefield for all those in Christ is the mind. Today the WOF belief system still reigns over the great proportion of Charismatics, worldwide, along with what is known as the NAR or New Apostolic Reformation. They are all about seeking services that lead to feelings of emotional ecstasy and the carnal operation of the gifts of the Spirit. How it is the Charismatic world interprets spiritual warfare carries very little support in Scripture. Newly saved, I witnessed young men and women eagerly seeking their lifetime partners, but also their particular spiritual gifts listed in 1 Cor. 12. The WOF preachers whose cassette libraries contained massive amounts of recordings by radio personalities from around the country contained the easiest access to information needed by young preachers to proclaim themselves leaders and practitioners of the gifts. There was no seminary leaning, for all of such schools were discouraged because they were wrong, weak in the things of the Charismatic world, and without insights. Maybe a lot were, which is probably part of the reason why the Pentecostal movement filled that empty space.

I think we have to be very careful when we begin to attack and accuse God's servants of lying. We think we are relying on scripture to back up our point when in all actuality we are relying on our puffed up interpretation of scripture and flirt with blaspheming the Holy Spirit. Yes Christ said no one has been to heaven and at that time it was true, but He never said no one ever would...it's a very elementary concept to understand to me....I have seen the testimonies of Mary K and Bill Weiss and hundreds have been saved because of their testimonies. Hi @nduatimathias2189 👋 Thanks for your questions here - Here is some info-- it has to do with Gods Sovereignty (Him being in complete control) over life & death….there appears to be a theological tension between the sovereignty of God and the free will of man… more below & info too ton Generational “curses” ★ GODS SOVEREIGNTY OVER DEATH- We know that God knows the number of our days (Psalm 39:4), and, being sovereign, He is in control of the day of our death. A question that arises is “what about murder?” A murderer seemingly cuts short the number of a person’s days. Has the murderer successfully seized control from God and determined for himself the time and manner of one’s death? If so-if the person overpowered the will of God-then God was not sovereign over that person’s death. But, if He remained sovereign, then must we say that God caused the murder? At first, there appears to be theological tension between the sovereignty of God and the free will of man. One way to resolve this tension is to carefully consider both how God causes things and how God knows things. If God’s causing things is not incompatible with the actions of human agents (including evil actions) and His causing things is not incompatible with His perfect knowledge, then we can better understand how God can know the exact days of our lives and yet not be the reason for our death in a causally problematic way. God’s sovereignty means He is in absolute control over all things (Colossians 1:16-17; Psalm 90:2; 1 Chronicles 29:11-12). Nothing can, in principle, affect or hinder God. In the most basic sense, God causes all things to be (Hebrews 1:3). It is by His eternal decree that anything else exists at any moment that it does. There is a radically contingent nature to all things outside of God. Even the subatomic particles comprising individual physical objects (and the circumstances to which they pertain) must be made to exist, since even atoms are contingent objects. Yet this does not mean God deterministically causes all things. An engineer who designs a machine can allow it to function with foreknown variations, or he can interfere to “force” a certain result. In either case, the engineer is in total control. In only one case is the engineer the deterministic cause of the event. The other key to this puzzle is a nuance in the concept of sovereignty. The fact that God is sovereign means He is entirely beyond the power of any other influence-He cannot be “stopped” or overcome in any way, shape, or form. That does not mean that God “must do” certain things. This is why we describe God’s sovereignty as a separate attribute from His omnipotence. Omnipotence is the power to do anything that power can accomplish. Sovereignty is the absolute, unfettered right to decide when and how-and if-to use that power. In other words, God’s sovereignty allows Him to not act-to allow-just as much as it allows Him to act. The choice is part of His sovereign nature. So, God can “allow” certain things to occur and not be a deterministic cause of those events. According to His sovereign choice, God has willed that events come to pass in accordance with the nature/essence of moral agents. Some of those events God simply “allows,” knowing as He does that everything will ultimately lead to His intended conclusion. Thus, God can will events to come to pass-either directly or indirectly-that are brought about by the non-coerced, freely willed acts of moral agents. The importance of God “allowing” actions as part of His sovereignty cannot be overstated. God’s causing the basis for an act to occur does not mean He is a responsible moral agent for the act. The moral responsibility for intentionally evil acts falls on those who commit the acts themselves. Evil is disorder and privation in being. God, by virtue of His perfection, cannot cause privation. We can think of evil as rust in metal or rot in a tree. In an analogous way, we can say God “causes” the tree and, therefore, “enables” the rot to occur. But God does not make the rot, and He does not cause evil per se. For His own purposes, God might know the tree will rot, “allow” the tree to rot, and not stop it from rotting, perhaps knowing the rot will prevent even more disease later on. God knows things by virtue of His own nature. In a simple eternal act, God perfectly knows Himself. By knowing Himself, God knows all that He causes. Because the nature of God is immutable (Malachi 3:6), the concepts of “before” and “after” do not apply to Him. God’s knowledge is not temporal, sequential, or time-bound. This is much like the act of human beings reading sheet music. The song recorded on the page is bound to the two dimensions of the symbols and paper. But the person writing the music is bound neither by two dimensions nor the “tempo” of the song. The composer can see and understand all of it at once, without restriction. He can change what he wants in the music, or not change it, as he desires. In somewhat the same way, that which is past and future to us is eternally present to God. God does not literally “foreknow” things as we might say of a supposed psychic or prophet; from the divine perspective, God simply knows. We can see, then, that God causes things to be, insofar as they exist in a nature designed by God for a specific operation. Man, as a moral and rational agent, acts without extrinsic moral coercion. And it is God who causes man to act in such a way, by willing the existential act. He can know all man’s choices in advance and either “allow” them or interfere with them as He sees fit, according to His intended purposes. All of this, finally, establishes a conclusion: God wills that man make non-deterministic moral choices. Since God’s knowledge is not time-bound, God knows what existential acts He causes. Given this, God knows when a person will die and how that person will die. We can say that God wills such events in an existentially basic, causal way, but not in a morally causal way. It is entirely possible for God to “allow” acts that He would not directly “cause,” or even prefer (Matthew 23:37). The human agent acting with malice is fully culpable from a moral standpoint; God cannot be the substantial or accidental cause of evil. In this way, properly separating the difference between God “knowing,” God “allowing,” and God “causing,” that we can understand the normative predication of both human action and divine action. ★ “What Does the Bible Say about Breaking Generational Curses? “The Bible mentions “generational curses” in several places (Exodus 20:5; 34:7; Numbers 14:18; Deuteronomy 5:9). God warns that He is “a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the fathers to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me.”

It sounds unfair for God to punish children for the sins of their fathers. However, there is more to it than that. The effects of sin are naturally passed down from one generation to the next. When a father has a sinful lifestyle, his children are likely to practice the same sinful lifestyle. Implied in the warning of Exodus 20:5 is the fact that the children will choose to repeat the sins of their fathers. A Jewish Targum specifies that this passage refers to “ungodly fathers” and “rebellious children.” So, it is not unjust for God to punish sin to the third or fourth generation - those generations are committing the same sins their ancestors did.

There is a trend in the church today to try to blame every sin and problem on some sort of generational curse. This is not biblical. God’s warning to visit iniquity on future generations is part of the Old Testament Law. A generational curse was a consequence for a specific nation (Israel) for a specific sin (idolatry). The history books of the Old Testament (especially Judges) contain the record of this divine punishment meted out.

The cure for a generational curse has always been repentance. When Israel turned from idols to serve the living God, the “curse” was broken and God saved them (Judges 3:9, 15; 1 Samuel 12:10-11). Yes, God promised to visit Israel’s sin upon the third and fourth generations, but in the very next verse He promised that He would show “love to a thousand [generations] of those who love me and keep my commandments” (Exodus 20:6). In other words, God’s grace lasts a thousand times longer than His wrath.

For someone worried about a generational curse, the answer is salvation through Jesus Christ. A Christian is a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17). How can a child of God still be under God’s curse (Romans 8:1)? The cure for a “generational curse” is repentance of the sin in question, faith in Christ, and a life consecrated to the Lord (Romans 12:1-2).” [GotQuestions] ❤️ SO4J-TV

@13:59 If no one has ascended into Heaven then where do Christians & saints that have died go? 2 Cor 5:6-8??? @14:50 As far as dreams go I have NEVER had a dream I could not distinguish from waking REALITY ever. Am I unusual or somehow deprived of normal sleep? Most of my dreams have been a lot like cartoons and a few nightmares were significantly different than reality. As far as lucid dreaming I can say none of them were as many of them have described in their Heaven or Hell experiences MORE REAL THAN THIS WORLD. As far as men whom seen Heaven did you not forget Elijah Enoch Moses? @17:15 If Heaven is about God's pleasure not man's pleasure and happiness then WHAT IF IT PLEASES GOD to make your eternal existence a HELL in HEAVEN? Why then seek to go to Heaven if there is nothing there that can give you any personal fulfillment pleasure or dreams. What if God only wanted to make your eternal heaven experience as miserable as possible and never please you ever like some sort of abusive parent? 😢 if none of our hopes and dreams make God happy then why seek to go to Heaven? If there is nothing in common interest of the well being of those that go to Heaven and God then why does God give men dreams to fulfill on earth like Martin Luther King or Nicola Tesla or Royal Raymond Rife? Is it not true that Heaven itself is supposed to be a motive for wanting to go there? Is not the Christian then supposed to begin eternal life now on earth and as much as lies within them bring heaven down to earth? Are we then supposed to portray God as the enemy of all mankind's best hopes and dreams for existence on earth? Are we supposed to portray God as promoting and coming to the aid of all mankind's villains, enemies and dream slayers on earth? WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU? This is not much of a sales pitch for wanting to go to Heaven.

Hi @soteriology1012 👋 .. thanks for sharing here.. ★Re: Does John 3:13 mean that no one went to Heaven before Jesus? [END] ... MORE BELOW for those who are interested- _______ ❌★JOHN 3:13 Explanation from the MacArthur New Testament Bible Commentaries (25 Vols )
★QUOTE by JOHN MACARTHUR: Only someone who has been to heaven can truly know what it is like. 1:2). [END] ... Hope this helps someone on this topic..❤️ SO4J-TV

In regards to your comment-- Both Enoch and Elijah did indeed go to heaven-- and did not die. Enoch did not come back to talk about it. Elijah came back on the Mount of Transfiguration with Moses-- but both did not talk.. nor did they talk about their experiences .. both simply appeared with a glorified Jesus. We just need to truly “fear God”.. and not be undermining God’s Word for unproven claims that are outside of scripture and that are NOT biblically authoritative whatsoever.. We need to be “Good Bereans” [Acts 17:11] and search the scriptures- and make sure what we are listening to, reading, watching, and believing is indeed Biblical .. and not outside of scripture [1 Cor 4:6] and/or contrary to God’s Word. i.e. ★Acts 17:11 (NASB) “Now these [Jews] were MORE NOBLE-MINDED than those in Thessalonica; for they RECEIVED the WORD with GREAT EAGERNESS, EXAMINING the SCRIPTURES DAILY to see whether these things [Paul & Silas’ statements] were so.” Our Dreams and Visions and Spiritual Experiences are not 100% authoritative... God’s Word is. We must Trust alone in Gods unfailing Word (Col 3:16) which is 100% authoritative- and-on-which we can bank our eternal soul onto- NOT on any of these Dreams, Visions, & Spiritual Experiences - which are extra-biblical spiritual experiences outside of scripture (1 Cor 4:6) - along with the “Lord-audibly-and/or-visibly told-me-this-or-that,“ etc .. Regarding the casting out of demins: what about the part in the Bible where the disciples of Jesus came to Him saying that there were people going around casting out demons in His name but that they were not of them (his disciples) and Jesus said leave them, those who aren't against us are for us. Hi @marlene7218 👋 .. In general here regarding the Spiritual World & also things like Witchcraft etc… there are zero power in those things.. - The Bible has a lot to say about witchcraft. Witchcraft and its many cousins, such as fortune-telling and necromancy, are Satan’s counterfeits to holy spirituality. The Bible expressly condemns all forms of witchcraft. Since early times, people have sought supernatural experiences God did not endorse. The nations that surrounded the Promised Land were saturated with such practices, and God had stern words for His people concerning any involvement with them. Deuteronomy 18:9-12 says, “When you enter the land the Lord your God is giving you, do not learn to imitate the detestable ways of the nations there. Let no one be found among you who sacrifices their son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead. Anyone who does these things is detestable to the Lord.” God takes witchcraft very seriously. The penalty for practicing witchcraft under the Mosaic Law was death (Exodus 22:18; Leviticus 20:27). First Chronicles 10:13 tells us that “Saul died because he was unfaithful to the LORD; he did not keep the word of the LORD and even consulted a medium for guidance.” In the New Testament, “sorcery” is translated from the Greek word pharmakeia, from which we get our word pharmacy (Galatians 5:20; Revelation 18:23). Witchcraft and spiritism often involve the ritualistic use of magic potions and mind-controlling drugs. Using illicit drugs can open ourselves up to the invasion of demonic spirits. Engaging in a practice or taking a substance to achieve an altered state of consciousness is a form of witchcraft. There are only two sources of spiritual power: God and Satan. Satan has only the power that God allows him to have, but it is considerable (Job 1:12; 2 Corinthians 4:4; Revelation 20:2). To seek spirituality, knowledge, or power apart from God is idolatry, closely related to witchcraft. First Samuel 15:23 says, “For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry.” Witchcraft is Satan’s realm, and he excels in counterfeiting what God does. When Moses performed miracles before Pharaoh, the magicians did the same things through demonic power (Exodus 8:7). At the heart of witchcraft is the desire to know the future and control events that are not ours to control. Those abilities belong only to the Lord. This desire has its roots in Satan’s first temptation to Eve: “You can be like God” (Genesis 3:5). Since the Garden of Eden, Satan’s major focus has been to divert human hearts away from worship of the true God (Genesis 3:1). He entices humans with the suggestions of power, self-realization, and spiritual enlightenment apart from submission to the Lord God. Witchcraft is merely another branch of that enticement. To become involved in witchcraft in any way is to enter Satan’s realm. Seemingly “harmless” modern entanglements with witchcraft can include horoscopes, Ouija boards, Eastern meditation rituals, and some video and role-playing games. Any practice that dabbles in a power source other than the Lord Jesus Christ is witchcraft. Revelation 22:15 includes witches in a list of those who will not inherit eternal life: “Outside are the dogs, those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.” We don’t need to fear Satan’s power, but we should respect it and stay away from it. 1 John 4:4 says, “Greater is He who is in you, than he who is in the world.” Satan can create much havoc, harm, and destruction, even in the lives of believers (1 Thessalonians 2:18; Job 1:12-18; 1 Corinthians 5:5). However, if we belong to the Lord Jesus Christ, there is no power that can ultimately defeat us (Isaiah 54:17). We are overcomers (1 John 5:4) as we “put on the whole armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes” (Ephesians 6:11). When we give our lives to Christ, we must repent. This repentance should include renouncing any involvement with witchcraft, following the example of the early believers in Acts 19:19. Isaiah 8:19 says, “When someone tells you to consult mediums and spiritists, who whisper and mutter, should not a people inquire of their God? Why consult the dead on behalf of the living?” When we follow those words to their logical conclusion, we could also ask, “Why seek any power apart from the source of all real power? Why seek spirits who are not the Holy Spirit?” Witchcraft and its many counterparts promise spirituality but lead only to emptiness and death (Micah 5:12; Galatians 5:19-21). Only Jesus has the words of life (John 6:68) ❤️ SO4J-TV :)
