There are so many MISUNDERSTANDINGS of the DOCTRINE OF ELECTION. The Doctrine of Election is indeed BIBLICAL. If one only looks at this topic at: FACE VALUE, MAN'S POINT OF VIEW & on HEAR-SAY you will certainly come to some: Wrong Conclusions, Assumptions, and Bad Doctrine. The Doctrine of Election is a PARADOX: We're ALL in trouble & ALL deserve Hell because of our SIN- but God is Rich in His Mercy and decided to INTERVENE & save some (Read Romans 9:10-25) after showing COMMON GRACE to ALL (Matt 5:45, Luke 6:35, Acts 14:17) by not sending us all immediately to Hell after our first Sin. We are ALL in trouble because of our sin (Rom. 3:23), and He is NOT required to save ANYONE, NOR is it His will to save EVERYONE. ★Romans 9:19 says, "God has MERCY on whom He DESIRES & He HARDENS whom He DESIRES.." It appears that the purpose of Jesus' disciples casting out demons (i.e. exorcisms) was to show Christ's dominion over the demons (Luke 10:17) and to verify that the disciples were acting in His name and by His authority. It also revealed their faith or lack of faith (Matthew 17:14-21). It was obvious that this act of casting out demons was important to the ministry of the disciples. However, it is unclear what part casting out demons actually played in the discipleship process. Interestingly, there seems to be a shift in the latter part of the New Testament regarding demonic warfare. The teaching portions of the New Testament (Romans through Jude) refer to demonic activity, yet do not discuss the actions of casting them out, nor are believers exhorted to do so. We are told to “put on the armor” to stand against them (Ephesians 6:10-18). We are told to “resist the devil” (James 4:7), be careful of him (1 Peter 5:8), and not give him room in our lives (Ephesians 4:27). However, we are not told how to cast him or his demons out of others, or that we should even consider doing so. The book of Ephesians gives clear instructions on how we are to have victory in our lives in the battle against the forces of evil. The FIRST step is placing our faith in Christ (2:8-9), which breaks the rule of “the prince of the power of the air” (2:2). We are then to choose, again by God's grace, to put off ungodly habits and to put on godly habits (Eph 4:17-24). This does not involve casting out demons, but rather renewing our minds (Eph 4:23). After several practical instructions on how to obey God as His children, we are reminded that there is a spiritual battle. It is fought with certain armor that allows us to stand against-not cast out-the trickery of the demonic world (Eph 6:10). We stand with truth, righteousness, the gospel, faith, salvation, the Word of God, and prayer (Eph 6:10-18). It appears that as the Word of God was completed, the Christians had more weapons with which to battle the spirit world than the early Christians did. The role of casting out demons was replaced, for the most part, with evangelism and discipleship through the Word of God. Since the methods of spiritual warfare in the New Testament do not involve casting out demons, it is difficult to determine instructions on how to do such a thing. The concept of “binding and loosing” is taught in the Bible in Matthew 16:19: “I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” In this verse, Jesus is speaking directly to the apostle Peter and indirectly to the other apostles. Jesus' words meant that Peter would have the right to enter the kingdom himself, that he would have general authority symbolized by the possession of the keys, and that preaching the gospel would be the means of opening the kingdom of heaven to all believers and shutting it against unbelievers. The book of Acts shows us this process at work. By his sermon on the day of Pentecost (Acts 2:14-40), Peter opened the door of the kingdom for the first time. The expressions “bind” and “loose” were common to Jewish legal phraseology meaning to declare something forbidden or to declare it allowed. Peter and the other disciples were to continue Christ’s work on earth in preaching the gospel and declaring God’s will to men and they were armed with the same authority as He possessed. In Matthew 18:18, there is also a reference to the binding and loosing in the context of church discipline. The apostles do not usurp Christ’s lordship and authority over individual believers and their eternal destiny, but they do exercise the authority to discipline and, if necessary, excommunicate disobedient church members. It’s not that the apostles were given the privilege of changing God’s mind, as if whatever they decided on earth would be duplicated in heaven; rather, they were encouraged that, as they moved forward in their apostolic duties, they would be fulfilling God’s plan in heaven. When the apostles “bound” something, or forbade it on earth, they were carrying out the will of God in the matter. When they “loosed” something, or allowed it on earth, they were likewise fulfilling God’s eternal plan. In both Matthew 16:19 and 18:18, the syntax of the Greek text makes the meaning clear: “Whatever thou mayest bind upon the earth shall be having been bound in the heavens, and whatever thou mayest loose upon the earth shall be having been loosed in the heavens” (Matthew 16:19, Young’s Literal Translation). Or, as the Amplified Bible puts it, “Whatever you bind [forbid, declare to be improper and unlawful] on earth will have [already] been bound in heaven, and whatever you loose [permit, declare lawful] on earth will have [already] been loosed in heaven.” Jesus taught that the apostles had a special task on earth. Their words of authority, as recorded in the New Testament epistles, reflect God’s will for the church. Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil and we are to continue to do so as we allow the Holy Spirit to rise up in us and use your tongue to command demons to leave you and others. Get higher in the spirit realm so that demons will manifest through others and then use the name of Jesus to cast them out. First you must be clean vessel. Be like Smith wigglesworth and read Bible every 15 minutes and pray for hours a day and you will see demons manifest through others regularly. Live in the presence of God and throw away all your carnal knowledge nonsense which you posted and start over.
