I loved my Canon 90D. I used it more than my Canon 6D mark II. Unfortunately, it got stolen from me.

After 40 years the battery holder plastic screw slot fails making it difficult to get batteries in, need to sort mine out hence this late comment as that is today's project. Take care using setting lock on front, position before self timer as leaving it on drains battery. Your problem mechanically is the power winder connection, now that is a real accessory. Hope you have discovered Kentmere and Foma film as cheaper than Ilford, although Kentmere is made by Ilford. It is a poor man's Contax, obviously the FX D is a Contax minus a few fancy features. Great camera.

As a second camera.... I'm thinking of upgrading from my 70D. It has a lot going for it compared to that. I am reluctant to switch to another manufacturer because of the lens set.

Hey man nice guide you’ve got there but some things I could give you is you gotta explain or get onto some details cause there are some things you’ve got doing that we don’t really understand, I kinda recommend you edit it a bit with a white font and color so that we could understand, editing the texts and intros of it might take a while but I promise you it’s worth it! hopefully you achieve your goals soon.

Trying to decide between Fujifilm X-S10 and XT30ii, but having such a hard time to decide haha. I have a sony a6000 that bought in 2014. it is still rocking by now

the sony is not comfortable to hold not to mention u can touch the screen to navigate its awful menu

Canon 90D DSLR is not a professional grade camera. Lacks the tough weather sealed body of a pro camera. Has limited custom functions. (Many customizable functions on pro cameras are one touch activated. Without the user having to hold down the assigned button.) Single memory card slot. No dual cards like pro cameras. I've gotten some great pics with this camera. Pick up a few cheap manual primes. It's fun. You got great personality. I hope you push out more content. Short, and consistent.

I don't understand why you are so hung up on the 2SD card issue. For any camera, 1 SD slot, 2 SD slots, or 300 SD slots, there is always a risk of failure. Any camera can go wrong. It's electronic, and things go wrong sometimes.

I had this camera since 2021 may. I have to say that many youtube videos done with this camera are not done in professional way(meaning lack of lights, composition etc. cinematic stuff). The camera itself wont make you professional, its "how you using camera, surroundings lights and build the scene". I got also canon 600D, and you can do amazing photos with it, if you got right lenses and know the tricks. Megapixels or epensive camera are not the issue with photos, its composition and understanding how you tell the story. With video, this camera is great if you got studio lights and proper lens (like samyang 24mm T1.5, or some old pentax vintage lenses). Also post editing is key to here...with davinci resolve, you need to learn to adjust colors, lights and add some VFX (like glow, halation, etc. minor effects to make video more cinematic). But if you gonna buy new camera "now", there is certainly better options available. But if you manage to get this one used with fair price, go for it, but get proper lens.

I also have had a Sony a6000. And rather than upgrade thar amazing camera. I just bought a better lens. I love it. I won’t update until it breaks

Not for any situation that is a one-off, Weddings for example. Unless there are two of you. Two of them, perhaps. Certainly it would be terrible bad luck for a failure but that would be no comfort to a client. Twin card camera needed.

Thats just fanboyish saying that the 90D raw files are harder to edit than the a7siii. Like what? Canon Raw has been around for longer than Sonny and every application works just fine with it. I use lightroom and capture one and have edited all raw files even from Panasonic they are all the same. The editing process is all the same. A 7sii had more dynamic range but thats all.

maybe after cock it,try don't push the lever all the way in. some older camera use it as a safety, to prevent from accidental shot
