Thanks! We've gotten to the point to where we realized we're not looking for a show car, we just want something that we can go out and do Scout things in. It just means we can go off roading and not have to worry too much about a few scratches and dings here and there.

I did not replace the felt. I was talking about the hardware that holds the latch on. I saw someone on Facebook advertising the replacement felt but I don’t remember who they were.

What’s the story on the scout? Have you see the progress on the scout? Lots of work.

@@becanbinders8695 I bought it from a guy in Williamsport, PA. he owned a school bus company. When IH went under, he bought out every LightLine dealers NOS parts in most of western PA. I was restoring my 79 so i was buying parts off him. He had that 80 sitting in his yard with plans to restore it. I asked if it was for sale, he said make me an offer. I bought it for $500.00, trailered it home. It sat in my driveway for about a year. I never had a chance to do anything to it but get it running. In the mean time my friend and his father who had a body and frame shop where they let me work on my 79 decided to close. I sold the truck a month later because I didn't have any place to work on it. I just found your videos today. Yes, I'm watching them. As soon as i saw the AMFM CB I figured it had to be that Scout. It had so much potential. I still wish I kept it and redid it.
