The divine right of kings is a deeper understanding of the world and it’s people allowing for better governance. There are far too many different political factions and agendas at this point to be able to enact any meaningful reform.

This early evidence religion was only 1 dictator making up religion to control everyone else. in 2022 all religion is still let over areas of government control over its citizens to prevent us WE THE PEOPLE from having a choice. In USA this religion is being used by republicans and conservatives to hold control over us not allowing us to have freedom which causes a struggle for women rights, LGBT+ rights, race, others rights, nudism. Solution is we must remove all religions from this world sinse religion is only a continuation of this system for controlling us. You might think what about those religious who seem to be for democracy that is the result of those who have not yet figured out the connection between religion and controlling the people.

True, there is no direct reference to the crucifixion in Kingdom Hearts. But this was more about talking about the elements of Christianity that show up in popular media than claiming that Kingdom Hearts is a "Christian" game.

i knew i wasnt the only person to see this!! sora was sent down from the "sky" or "heavens" to save humanity from the "darkness" or "demons". and he vanished at the end of kh3 because he was never there. he actually sacrificed himself for humanity

I appreciate the editing cutaways and the wah wah waah. Also I didn’t connect all the same things together that you did in the film. Oh and I didn’t recognize the castle itself reflecting the theme of outside vs inside.

It’s interesting how in KH, Kairi’s grandmother tells Kairi the ancient story of the age of fairytales and the things that happened before the keyblade war she mentions how the light in children’s hearts was able to rebuild the worlds that were lost to the darkness because the ancient wielders were selfish and only wanted the light to themselves. Most of the KH protagonists are children. Comparing that to the Christianity and what the bible says, Jesus went around traveling and spreading the word of god. Eventually he was approached by children throughout his travels because they were curious of learning about his teachings, he would say that children are able to give glory and worship to god because they are pure and innocent beings that are not corrupted at all by the wickedness of the Devil and the world he has control of. Until they are corrupted and manipulated by an adult (Riku being tricked by Maleficent and then controlled by Ansem is a good example) All of this holds true in Kingdom Hearts.

That's an interesting question! Something else to think about: "Magic" has been used as an allegory for religious power, or as a narrative tool to discuss religion, for hundreds of years; see both C.S. Lewis and Tolkien. Both authors used a lot of magic in their narratives, but both centered the storyline on Christian themes. So we think it's plenty appropriate to discuss as an effective narrative tool.
