This is another thing wrong with modern vehicles. We don't need 1000 horsepower $100,000 dollar cars. 100 hp $10,000 dollar vehicles would be just fine. Cars running on smartphone apps with more complexity and wiring than a moon rocket, that everybody just *knows* is going to fail, is utterly obscene.

Fantastic vehicle. I love that they felt the need to put "Mox Nix Sticks" on a combat vehicle. (American slang)

14:45 this is typical German over engineering. Why not drill a hole in the pedal instead of soldering some arm to it?😊

As an old Leo 1 tank driver, you could have just pulled circuit 77 and that bypases the shutoff system. But yeah the coolant light is supposed to flash at 10 liters low and the engine shuts off at 20 liters. Also if you go below 1.2 bar oil pressure it will shut off as well. The other thing which shuts off the engine is the submergence hydraulics microswitch on the commanders cupola. If the system is pumped up with the hatch open the engine will die. Have fun. I spent 20 years on Canadian Leopard 1s so if you have a question I may be able to help. Cheers

Why did every country have a 37mm antitank gun? And would an American 37mm round be fired from a German, Japanese, French or Russian gun?

Interesting bit of history I worked for Timken bearings in the Roller plant in Canton, Ohio and the machines I used still had the WW2 date markings and probably was used to make those tapered bearings on that M3.
