Agreed! If I hadn't heard the whole solo I could believe he was playing flugelhorn right up until the second page; very impressive to get that sort of timbre on the trumpet!

Changes are off by 8 bars he comes in on the second A

yeah i realized that when i rewatched. bridge starts at mm 9. he outlines the chords pretty clearly not sure how i missed that.

should be m9-16 - bridge. m17-24 last A, then he goes through the full form again.
