Corbett's on a powder day with fresh snow is not a big deal. On hardpack, it's a sketchy entrance. Seen dudes crush it on a straightline in both conditions with huge air. That's not a straightline - I was looking uphill to see where they would come from to drop in, and this guy is already on the lip! 😂

I know a guy who went right off the top knob over the cliff, not the chute. Some other nut did the chute on a snowmobile, it's documented in a movie called Some Day Some One Will Ski This, or something like that.

There are much higher drops on the mountain. This is a combination of a steep and narrow chute, coupled with dropping in. It is also open whenever conditions allow. It is true it is roped off, but that is becasue you can't see it until you are on top of it. If you didnt know it was there, it would be a bad day for you... But, there is an entry path. The only time this is removed, is when events occur like Kings & Queens where you blindly drop in with speed.

Stand above it and you will change your mind. Cameras tend to hide severity and steepness. My guess is no chance you would ever drop in...
