Been a good long while since I saw anyone upload playthrough this "golden oldie"... Mods are allways fun...

Imagine actual Jadame homm, with dragonfighting knights with enslaved dragons, merchantguild ssethaapproved dark elves with trolls and minotaurs, adorable coatl lizardmen pyramids and regnan faction with cannons and submarine instead of ships. Now that would have been great. There were also dark dwarves there, could think up an underground dungeon faction for them.

i would NEVER install vcmi without wog fwatures because it would be too hota like and hota is biring and poor. and i wulk say even more - ibwould replace hota with tides of war. let boring hota just be boeing hora and leave it behind for cyber sport and stufd like that.

I would never and I mean NEVER install WOG to VCMI, because It tend it to be as Hota-like as possible. With Wake of Gods it will become an overtuned disgusting pile of messed $h1t. Let just WOG be WOG by itself, but leave VCMI be and let it just feel like a more developed Horn of the Abyss, a game which feels like Hota, but ended up being better than actual Hota from Hota Crew.

I am a bit disappointed by all the complaints I see everywhere about this game, and for something that took a tremendous effort. I personally am looking forward to it and think the art style is a welcome change.

I don't know, feeling mixed about the design choices here. The positive side is that they are really trying to instill a unique personality on each hero. Yet they all remain somewhat generic, and I'm echoing a similar opinion other commenters here already made that without a context, they could be heroes from some new mobile game. The unique art style of Larry Elmoresque dark fantasy was already somewhat lost from HoMM5 to this day. This could have been a wonderful excuse to bring some of it back and fully embrace the testosterone-soaked gothic lewd grim-goofiness of the old times, something that is IMO missing from the market of new games. Ister is the only one that comes close to that esthetic, but falls just short. The wow-effect I was anticipating just isn't there. Somehow they just don't have that commanding presence that would inspire to delve into their background and lore. After all, these individuals are supposed to command whole armies, and thus have a matching charisma and poise.

I don't know if it's just me but everything looks like AI these days.

Not a fan of the art style nor the general look of most of these Temple heroes. I also feel that some have very meh abilities compared to others. For example, you have a hero with increased movement and one with increased vision, where these two could have been the same hero and give room for a more unique ability for the other one. Which was also a thing with older Heroes games and I thought this time around they'd took care of it. That all being said, I feel very optimistic for this game as the developers seemed they really get what a good Heroes game should be and they already have shared some really cool new gameplay mechanics. Looking forward to it!

Keandra's helmet is awful. If you would have showed me her picture without any context i would have belived that it's related to something like Overwatch. Never i would have imagined it to be a human faction knight, it's too overdesigned and it does not resemble a knight or any other type of medieval soldier. This is only made worst by the fact that this game is tied to the older Heroes titles which had (not completly realistic but more) down to earth armor. These knights look like they are wearing protoss armor.
