I liked the video cuz I queried for cost of living in Roatan and recently Utila. Since you have acquired an island vibe and culture the fact that Islanders ( most Caribbean Islanders) have a slower pace than everyone else. I was able to see some prices for food and other things associated with eating out. Do you suppose you could make a video for someone who's income is like $1200.00 a month ?? I want to travel but I'm basically addicted to snorkeling. I have lived in St Thomas and St Croix for 3 yrs and Hawaii for 2 yrs and Palawan The Philippines for 6 months. Also I noticed that you and your companion were too concerned about mosquitoes at that time of the evening. Or I heard they have sand fleas ? Sand fleas... hmm maybe they're talking about noseeums ?

I'll see you this summer. I stopped going to Utica about 10 years ago because of the crowds, and the last couple years union is starting to go the same way. Bummer

Not affiliated with any cruise ship. Boat can be found in West end or west bay Beach and the captain himself will make a deal with you

No. ALL beaches in Honduras are public, despite what you may be told

If you buy food and drink at the resort, you are welcome to use all of their facilities and beach chairs

Definitely wait until you are on the island, and speak directly to the boat captains for the best deal. And wait until you have been there a couple days to get the feel. Excellent snorkeling from the beach in West bay. Go straight out in front of infinity Bay resort, don't go all the way to the grand Roatan to get in

Or if on a cruise ship, walk off the port area, get a taxi to west bay beach for $10.00 U. S. PAY NO MORE THAN THAT! and spend the day and walk behind bananrama resort by West bay mall and get a taxi back to the cruise dock

Hmmm, You should be able to get a van for 25 each way for everyone. I would join Roatan Facebook groups and make a post with an inquiry about transportation. You will get a lot of expensive responses, but 25 is the going rate. Groups like Roatan news network, roatan discussion group and others...

March is great!! Only a few clubs, it's a small town, but what clubs there are, are quite fun

This is definitely the right place. Lots of activities, lots of nightlife and plenty of hammocks with nice breezes to enjoy quiet time as well....
