Last year my family took a trip to Colorado and we drove through the town of Black Hawk on our way from Rocky Mountain Park back to our hotel hours away. We drove through Black Hawk at like 8pm on a weeknight and it was eerie to see businesses lit up and not a soul in sight. We saw no people or animals at all. You could see inside the casinos, machines and tvs all on and no one inside. I later thought of this movie to explain the feeling of 'if you stop in this town you'll never leave'. I'm sure it's a nice place but that night I was on such an edge until we left that place.

This is the second time we've had a character go through a transformation and ride a mount only to lose that upper hand, almost intensity. First, it was Charlie when she transformed and razzle and dazzle turned into dragons, and she lost that upper hand when she got shot down. Then there's this where Loona transformed, and Blitzo rode her only to get split up and Moxxie needing to take over

I’m honestly a little sick of the woman saying how much is missed from the books… if they included all the details in the book, the movie would have to be like… at least 4-5 hours long… I love the books, but I definitely don’t expect the movies to include all the material, if it did, watching all 8 movies would take weeks. 🤦‍♂️

I know everyone is saying Howl's Moving Castle and Princess Mononoke (for good reason, I love them), but I have to SCREAM Laputa:Castle in the Sky. The soundtrack, the characters- the english dub is immaculate!

The newer stuff has genuinely funny and witty moments, the editor just did not do it justice. Unrelated note-any ash greninja battles eats down

Castle in the Sky is a classic that y’all should watch. It’s the first studio Ghibli movie (there are a few Miyazaki made before like Nausicaa, but Castle in the Sky marks the founding of the studio). I don’t see a lot of people recommending it, but it was one of my favorites as a kid. It’s funny that now, as a one piece fan, I can find a lot of parallels and I wouldn’t be surprised if Oda drew inspiration from it.

Gen 4 had the best writing, but Gen 1 had the best roasts.
