Folk that lapped up his anti-USA lyrics are now clutching their pearls at his straight talk about isl@mofascism and the well documented inability of authorities to properly deal with it. Nice song. At the end he's extending the "won't someone feel sorry for the poor mass murderer" trope - "go easy on the killer". Have the BBC banned it yet?

They were not just teenagers but also children . A horrendous tragedy. Going off on a tangent, why would parents bring their children to see Ariana G which is a talentless and trashy celebrity who sexualises childhood when they have the amazing Halle Orchestra in Manchester. They have very good shows for children and young people, but this is another subject altogether.

Morrissey is living it like he always did, Telling awkward and confronting truths - regardless of outrage. Sounds like rock n roll. Remember rock n roll?

Actual poetry - the art form that Morrissey practices - may often involve matters and points of view that don't follow party politics, university indoctrination and the pre-Musk Twitterverse.

I'm so glad he explained what this song was about and I hope that more people see this. We're sacrificing children, letting precious children be murdered, all for the sake of political correctness and virtue signaling for political gain. That's an atrocity.

Morrisey, the guy who is mad at Islam because of the way they kill animals for food, talks about the Manchester bombings and Islam terrorism but doesn't seem to understand that US/Britian destroyed the bomber's home country of Libya.

I detect a pattern to his singing now which I never did, almost formulaic which sadly diminishes the originality of what he's currently doing but the topic is undeniably powerful as is the message.

I was there last night. Just to the right of you by the look of it. The one and only “controversial” thing he said was at the start of this song. He of course is wrong as the name is known and has been in numerous media reports. However the idea of his name not being freely mentioned like Hindley-Brady, is to try to not elevate him to some sort of martyrdom and cult figure, that’s all. No conspiracy. His name should be forgotten.
