I really have no idea what has happened to them all. I managed to find just 2 swans yesterday at a place called Shapwick. All the other swans were out of reach on the peat fields. Again, there weren't many about at all.

@TheOddEarth-Show no, I don't think that's the reason behind it as there are plenty of birds and swans around the UK, just not so many around here.

@@Davidsdiscoveriesinnature It could be so many things from pollution to noise to humans. It's sad when you can see a visible decline.

Yes, I ended up sleeping in the hammock within the fly net on the ground. It was a classic comedy moment. I wish I had been able to record it. It took me 5 minutes to get out of the hammock as I was tipped on my side. 😆 🤣 😂
