The main chords do sound similar indeed, though I always thought Twilight Sniping was more likely inspired by Tango's Spellbound, especially the bass. Check it out if you like something similar ;)

@@LateNiteBass Oh it's nice to see you also know that piece :) i think the flow and instrumentals are quite similar (not identical) of course it's impossible to recreate the same sound of mgs2 one by one but for me it was that game that got me into dnb liquid

I discovered this beauty in my youth, at the beginning of the internet downloading era with Kazaa (a peer-to-peer app), while accidentally downloading the Global Underground with Paul Oakenfold. It took me days to get the full mix on a dial-up modem connection. First time hearing this track and it sounds incredible! So much more atmospheric than a lot of the D&B we have today. I wish I was young enough to have experienced the 90s at an older age having being born in '92. If anyone has any recomendations of tracks that sound like this, I'd really appreciate it x
