The finalists for both All Valleys should be locks: Tory, Sam, Robby, Hawk and Miguel. The 6th imo should be Kenny not Demetri as he lacks the confidence in karate

Does anyone not like the rules of the ST? Like they said “this is about quality not quantity” so they only allowed 6 fighters and this is a fighting tournament which means getting injured is kinda the point. How is it fair for them to be able to do substitutions? They only allow six so that every dojo has a chance not just the big ones. It doesn’t matter if your dojo only has 6 students or has 6,000 students, you can win. That’s the reason that only six are allowed but the substitution rules seem so loose that a big dojo could easily just sub in a whole new team after each match. Like a big dojo could put together like 10 different teams of six and just keep subbing in the new team to keep them fresh. That gives the bigger dojos a huge advantage because their fighters only have to fight one round instead of a small dojo who only has one team, the small dojo would have to fight all the matches and would be worn out by the end but the big ones would only have to do one fight technically. I just don’t think substitutions should be allowed. They also shouldn’t be allowed to switch dojos but silver clearly said that kenny could if he wanted to and he said that’s only possible because of the substitution rules. In that case you could have a student on a different team and tell them to intentionally lose matches and then have them switch back to your team at the end or something. I just don’t think it should be allowed and when I found out miguel had to leave I really thought the myiagi dos where going to have to forfeit and then i heard about the substitution and i was really confused. Maybe substituting should be allowed in certain circumstances, like Miguel left for a family emergency so i think substitution should be allowed for him but if one of your fighters gets injured you shouldn’t be allowed to substitute in a new one. That defeats the whole purpose of fighting. If you can’t substitute then it makes good sense to go for knock outs and stuff so that you weaken the opposing team and possibly take them out of the fight and win but if you can substitute then none of that matters because they can just continue bringing in more students and that clearly gives the bigger dojos an advantage. It shouldn’t be allowed. It should be six people and that’s it and if you are going to allow substitutions then it should only be for certain reasons like miguel having to leave for an emergency and i also think that no matter what only one substitution should be allowed per team and i think that just like the original 6 are going to be registered as the 6 fighters for each dojo i think each dojo should have to register one substitute per team so that if they have to use their one substitution it is someone who has been preselected and can’t be changed. Meaning each dojo should have to register 7 fighters before the tournament begins and those 7 should be the only ones allowed to fight no matter what. Each dojo gets one substitution and that substitution cannot be changed or altered after the tournament begins and the substitution shouldn’t be allowed to fight except for special circumstances. I don’t think injuries sustained during a match should give them the opportunity to use a substitute and i don’t think substitution should be allowed if any wrongdoing occurs and leads to one of the fighters being taken out. I think the only time substitution should be allowed is if an emergency happens and causes one of the fighters to have to leave, if an injury is sustained by one of the fighters outside of the matches, if one of the fighters gets injured due to an illegal move and prevents them from fighting, and also if one of the fighters gets sick and cannot fight. Basically anything that causes a fighter to not be able to fight that is outside of their control and isn’t caused by the matches themselves should allow them to use a substitute and nothing else. And even with that premise i think all substitutions should have to be approved by the ST officials before it can happen. They shouldn’t just be able to sub in whenever they want, they should have to go to the officials and ask for permission to use their sub before the sub is allowed on the mat and like i said, the sub should be preselected before the tournament begins and not allowed to be changed. That would make things more fair and would truly showcase the whole “quality over quantity” thing that they are going for.

It should have been all 8 main characters with the classic duo titles Rory (Robby and Tory) Samuel (Sam and Miguel) ,The Binary Bros, Kevon though Kenny and Devon arent a couple was the only team name i could come up for the rookies. And i found it dumb for the tournament they had 6 instead of 8 members for the world stage also 8 fighters could have warranted it the Miyagi Fang fighters to set up their own 2 tournaments of 4 for Captains

Bro why is this even a conversation? Hawk is definitely a top 5 member, and just cause they did him dirty in the show doesn't erase his feats of being on part with Miguel and Robby and stronger than Sam and Tory. Also I mean the chemistry factor is also huge cause he has chemistry with pretty much everyone. So he's a guaranteed pick for the Sekai Taikai and I'm sure nobody would disagree. It's only a debate for sixth member and I don't have much to add to that cause it's extremely close but it's between Demetri and Kenny, and due to Kenny's lack of chemistry and inexperience, especially with the new style and in combat all together, along with small size, I'd say Demetri. Definitely not Chris, Mitch, Nate, Bert or Anthony, and not Devon cause she's nothing special really and we already have the women covered

i agree but i personally don't understand why you and others arent putting hawk in the big 4 as i think when he really locks in he is maybe the second or 3rd best in the show. i also thimk kenny or devon is better than dimitri but tbh i am a bit biased to both characters that aren’t demitru (especially after what he did to hawk in he qualifiers) great video tho

you dont know ball. kenny is the fastest teen in the show and you gave him a 7/10 on speed rating. hes also THE FASTEST learner out of the teens and you still made him 3.5 experience points lower than demetri who is has admitted and has been stated to not be built for karate and slow learner.

Demetri shouldn’t go since he’s mad at Hawk which messes up their chemistry and his low confidence will bring down the rest of team seen as the trailer when he said he wanted to leave.Kenny is the best choice

I’m ngl, the show is rigged. When getting the selections right, the ALL VALLEY CHAMP should have an automatic shoe in, meaning Miguel and Hawk would Alr make the top 2 on my list, Robby would be third because of how equal he is to Hawk and Miguel, Tory for her aggression, Sam for her balance, and we need a big IQ nerd with at least a year of experience, that goes to demetri.

Kenny is the fighter with the most potential. Guy is a freshman in high school competing with seniors and juniors. In the next Sekai Tekai which he will still be of age to compete, he’ll easily win, considering as he’s already contending with people four years older than him.

I really hate takes that think that hawk doesn’t automatically get a spot because he’s a valley champ beating s4 rage amped bloodlusted robby. He’s also one of the only fighters that know all 3 styles and not to mention, he has the best cobra kai offense. Hawk only holds back because of certain circumstances like robby telling to go easy on kenny and demetri because he is hawk’s friend. We all know he would lock-in in the tournament.
