I love BJM but Anton as usual is totally devoid of self awareness. Rich to complain bands are lacking originality when his entire existence is ripping off 60s iconography. Hes been making the same sounding pastiche sounds for the last 30 years. Even naming BJM albums after other bands (Beatles, My Bloody Valentine etc). A edgelord contrarian to the very end (never change 🧡)

Gummo has such a sick soundtrack. It’s like a smorgasbord of dark, uncanny outsider music.

I love the morons posting negative comments about Anton and actually have ZERO idea of the incredible music he made. Listen to "Take It From The Man" or "Caress" or "Anemone" and tell me you still feel the same way. Was he a difficult man to work with musically, yes, was he a friggin maniac at times...yes....most genius's are a bit touched socially.

I love Nilly enough to know to leave her alone. I clicked on this once and the algo tells me again again! No algo: leave her alone. Her songs are so much, isn't that enough?

Thank you for a warm and touching interview. There are several questions I hope Aurora gets asked 1) Since she loves silence and quiet (which I understand and adore) how has she come to enjoy Metal and how she can reconcile the two ? 2) Does she consider her self a singer who dances or a dancer who sings . Body movement is so important to her songs that I feel that her music on an album without her visuals is incomplete. I hope some day she does a live album with video or records one of her tours with video.

Lol tell us smt new Duane. We just want Mike to be creative. He made most commercial record by himself Peeping Tom. Fans love Fantomas and latest Tomahawk is kind a lame. It's not about how accessible it is, it is more about how good and creative it is 😁

Interesting that Louis mentioned Miles "Tribute to Jack Johnson" album which I bought when it came out when I was still in high school. I was already a fan of Miles and had recently gotten into The Mahavishnu Orchestra. The "Tribute" album immediately drew my attention because half of the "Orchestra" was on that Miles album. Billy Cobham and John MacLaughlin. It was actually Cobham playing with a swing feel not DeJohnette. My two biggest influences as a drummer at the time were Billy Cobham and Mitch Mitchell. Two drummers that couldn't be any more different in their approach.
