Took me a couple of tries - seems I have to turn the ignition on, but not as far as to make the car start whilst holding the trip button Then “Service reset?” appears on nthe dash and that’s where I held the little up/down toggle switch pressed in until the service reset? disappeared from the dash Not there anymore. Thank you so much. Because I had my services done early (as I’ve got less km’s) it always popped up between services and now the ex-Holden dealership wanted to charge me $129 to make the warning go away even though they did the last service. Normally the cleared it for free. Not going back there again! You’re a legend for sharing this!

I have watched several videos claiming that this is this process for the years 2011-2017. I've come to learn that mine is completely different and pops up a main menu option no service access seems to be available through this method. My vehicle is a 2013 BMW X3 28i xDrive. I will continue my search for an answer on how to access my service menu. If you have any tips or if you believe that I have made a wrong step, please do let me know!
