I also did not buy the romance in the bridge kingdom and went back and forth whether to continue with the series. But Boy, The Traitor Queen (book 2) was so much better (5star) and continued on to book 3 (The Inadequate Heir - which was my favorite of all, with my fantasy book boyfriend Keris - 6 stars!) and book 4 (The Endless War - 4 star). I am just waiting for book 6 so i can binge read book 5 and 6!

This was such a fun vlog! Loved getting to hear your thoughts. I definitely struggled more with this book than the first one. It seemed like the pacing was off and did not need to be as long as it was. Also Violet came across as more needy and annoying. I will say I reread this one in preparation for the new release and I understand her more and wasn't quite as annoyed 😂
