Is that a high flow machine? If not did you need a cooler for the oil?

QUESTION: I bought a Battle Ax Light for my 75-3. Happy customer. Realizing I may need to order Carbide Teeth as I have sandy soil and rocks in areas. What is he running on the mulcher in this video? Carbide or Steel Knives? Thank you for any info!
@LoftnessSpecializedEquipment10 ай бұрын
With your area having sand and rocks we would recommend Carbide Teeth. In this video though we are using Planner Teeth.

I have one of these and I love it. had early teething pains (no pun intended) with the bobcat t76 due to a faulty connector block on the bobcat side of things but now its just cooking along. As a customer who wants to own this for a very long time I would like to see you put out more informational videos about bearing maintenance, belt inspection, balancing the drum, and whatever else you want to share with us. This mulcher punches above its weight for sure.

Can a 75-2 kubota run this mulching head?
@seecesar Жыл бұрын
Rookie here... Silly question but what happens when you run this over a rock? I'm considering something like this for business but I noticed that some of the land i'd like to clear might have rocks like most land does. Thank you
@LoftnessSpecializedEquipment Жыл бұрын
The biggest thing obviously is trying to avoid the rocks if you can. But if you hit a rock which does happen, the drum will slow down and you'll need to give the machine a couple of seconds to get back up to speed. We always recommend outfitting your mulching head with Carbide teeth in rocky environments as they are more durable in these situations. If you ever need more information feel free to reach out to your nearest Loftness rep at the link here. www.loftness.com/vm-dealer-locator

Hey all, I'm about to start working at Loftness in smalltown Hector MN. I don't speak for the company, just a new guy. I chose this workplace because it's now an employee-owned company that puts out quality machinery. Since it's employee-owned, we're all incentivized to do damn good work. Please, tell me what we can do better. I'll be right there with everyone from engineers to welders and final assembly and I'll pass it on. Loftness is chock-full of exceptional people who are damned good at what they do, and they're constantly improving. Your input helps.

How are you liking the loftness with the T76. Are you using it for personal use or business. Just curious as to how well is the recovery time. I have a T76 with high flow so I’m just weighing options
@hyperformancellc Жыл бұрын
@@johnjones-qg7mf I think the loftness is the best matched for what I have tested and tried. IT spools up pretty good. I would advise when your mulching a stump to go back and forth rather then up or down since going up slows down the spooling more then back and forth. the weak link really is the bobcat.
@johnjones-qg7mf Жыл бұрын
@@hyperformancellc Good deal…bobcat in my area has the loftness available for rent so I will definitely try it out. My local dealer only had the diamond drum mulcher which is to big for gpm range on the T76. Diamond mulcher was high flow 32-45 gpm which is to much for the T76s (30.3) gpm high side… Thanks for the info will be trying the loftness

I have the T76 platinum haven’t had the time tie check out the mulcher yet. This week had an issue with machine not starting… have really been debating going with a bigger hp machine…maybe 770 or John Deere 331 or 333

I am a SWAT officer and I am looking to start a business to make some money on the side during my down time. How large of a crowd of trees can this do before it starts to gum up? Does the type of tree matter? I live in Portland and would describe the here trees as "mostly peaceful".

Seems that this head pulls in debris fast, does a good job on the first pass and the operator can use the push bats to pull trees around for a better angle to be mulched. Just my observations. Wonder if they have a model fora 75 hp machine. And do you have to have an external cooler?
