I would like to interject that the Gigbar Move +ILS is legit. 2 movers and 2 wash make a great light show, and with the Command ILS, it gives you great light shows with simpler solution than DMX.

I think subs require too much power to sustain very long on a built in battery… also if they did add it, it would add significant weight to the subwoofer… cost is not effective either without dropping $500+ more per speaker/sub…

To connect a Mackie 212 speaker or other spk to a subwoofer, use a standard speaker cable to connect the "Line Out" or "Sub Out" jack on the Mackie 212 to the "Line In" or "LFE In" jack on the subwoofer; then, use another speaker cable to connect the "High Pass Out" on the subwoofer to the "Line In" on the Mackie 212, ensuring the subwoofer's high-pass filter is engaged to send only low frequencies to the sub and high frequencies to the Mackie 212. Key points to remember: Use the correct cable: A standard speaker cable (typically with XLR connectors) is used for connecting between the speaker and the subwoofer. Subwoofer output to speaker input: Connect the subwoofer's "High Pass Out" to the Mackie 212's "Line In". Speaker output to subwoofer input: Connect the Mackie 212's "Line Out" or "Sub Out" to the subwoofer's "Line In" or "LFE In". Adjust the high-pass filter: Make sure to engage the subwoofer's high-pass filter to ensure the Mackie 212 only receives high frequencies.

Why do you not use the stereo TRS channel on the Yamaha? I've been doing this for years. It keeps your controller inputs away from anyone / anything else that is plugged in & frees up 2 channels with XLR / TRS input.

Yes, this. Like, um, there are stereo channels made for exactly what you need but you just made it more complicated to change the volume on two inputs instead of one. Doesn't make sense unless you just don't have an XRL to TRS cable.

First time listener, what’s so bad about speaker scrims? For example I have black speakers black scrim, and white Rockville totem with white scrims and white moving heads on top and a white facade. I feel like it would look a little awkward without the speaker scrim. I would love to hear your thoughts

@@caprisun6 Love the totems and scrims…we’ve used them before. Honestly, the speaker scrims just seem unnecessary if the cable management is clean. Maybe switch to a square base speaker stand and level up?!

This happens to be a really great set up specially for cocktail. I had a chance to hear these speakers at a live event outside. They sound fantastic perfect for country clubs background, music, easy listening I would never use these to actually DJ with my real system is an RCF and I’m impressed with these for what they are.

Everse 8 has been great for me. I’m a classical/jazz guitarist who does ceremonies using Sennhieser lapel mic for officient, Tonedexter preamp powered by Everse for guitar. Being a real musician instead of a DJ I hit cue for wedding party and improvise segue into bride processional, then improvise a cadence to get out of tune when bride hits the alter. I hit the recessional when officiant announces couple. Recorded music at a ceremony is tacky. Live music is best.

Which Wireless DMX Interface do you use? I bought U'King from Amazon and tried also Chauvet DJ for W-DMX but I have problems on higher strobe rates, so the light stays on or off for a while instead of a correct strobe rate. You know what I mean? On my channel you can see 2 videos about that problem - once with wired DMX & once with wireless DMX.

I wanna mobile tt set up...im a retired weekly spinne4...and my 1200s stay mostly in a closet..snd i only spin for free block parties and stuff... Is it worthwhile to get a one?... or would you spend the extra ends to get performer?? Guitar center isn't what it used to be for testing this stuff
