3:42 I always wonder why Banksy didn't tried to warn the Ducks what was about to happen, in those few seconds the rest of the Varsity walked away while he was still at the table. I guess Varsity threatened poor Adam with hazing or something if he said anything. He got the worst luck in all three movies, everyone was out to traumatise him for no reason.

Nostalgic and emotionally moving. However: unfortunately and perhaps accidentally, Gordon & Charlie's dynamic through this trilogy does come across as inappropriate. Idk if it's the way it's shot and blocked, or scripted, or acted, but; something about the intensity levels and lack of boundaries is so off what it's supposed to be. The D3 "don't go" scene is even shot romantically... E.g. in D1, the canon romance plot is between Gordon & Charlie's Mom, but Bombay only acts intensely interested in Charlie. In D2, Charlie is given special treatment by Gordon, and made his assistant, despite the other Ducks taking issue with Gordon. And in D3, for which Gordon barely appears and isn't really in the Ducks' lives anymore, still he has crazy access to and influence over teen Charlie's private personal life, and Charlie seems to crave and embrace this intrusion rather than reject the older man. Sorry to say this so bluntly and vulgarly, but it looks like a classic case of gr00ming. Bear in mind, Charlie is more than half Gordon's age, and is not AOC even by the end of D3. The same seemed to be true to a lesser extent of Coach Reilly and Banksy, and Gordon & Hans in D1--just a creepy vibe between the teen boys & grown men in these films.

Banks was on the path to what Gordon became. Gordon recognized this. He gave him a future where he could still love the sport. With those who would tease him but come to accept him either way.

Actually, watch the first Ducks movie -- there are two Adam Banks. At one point, Banks scores a goal -- then cut to the scene of the kids going crazy while he scores, and he's also cheering on the bench.
