Your suggestion that the film maker should have somehow resurrected Russell Crowe’s character was considered many years ago, and it just didn’t make good storytelling sense. And the reason there were the 2 co-emperors was perhaps because they actually existed in history, and one participated in fratricide of the other. To have eliminated them from the story entirely, as you suggest, would have oversimplified Macrinus’s ascent to the throne.

@@TalisaLMarie absolutely. What I don’t understand is how other mountaineers could just stand by and let her husband treat her like he did. The incident was recorded which was good and bad. My heart went out to her because I know how it feels to be abused. It doesn’t have to always be physical as mental abuse is just as traumatic. Her strength to push forward is my inspiration right now. Please tell her that for me. 🥰😊🤗❤️

@@alimccreery755 I think they just stood by and watched him abuse her because they were scared of him. I think it mentioned that someone tried to step in but wasn't successful. I agree, abuse is not just physical but also mentally and verbal. The fact that she was able to forgive him and be there for him while he was sick just shows how powerful she really is. I'm sorry to here that you to were a victim to abuse. I hope you know that you too are powerful and incredible. Take care of yourself always xx ❤

@@TalisaLMarie I educated myself on narcissistic abuse and the part that the victim plays and it’s not about being strong and powerful it has more to do with having been abused as a child and being conditioned to thinking that we deserve to be treated badly. As a survivor of mental and physical abuse I know understand why I’ve made bad choices in relationships and why I’ve been confused that I thought what I was feeling is real love. She loves her children which is obvious, her passion for climbing could possibly go beyond just Everest but to prove to herself that she is worthy of such a mountain that is magnificent, and she is. Not willing to be beaten down and keep going, I can relate to that thinking and passion. You are right about what happened in the tent , I saw the guys look on his face when he bent down to help her and how disgusted. I probably should stop there because I get emotional. I’ve witnessed a guy friend of mine get abused by his wife and the whole situation was traumatic for me. Please let the Mountain Queen know that she is greatly admired and I honor her here in America 🥰🤗❤️❤️❤️

I saw this today and totally agree. Your review is spot on. The animation was amazing state of the art, the story line was somewhat obvious but none the less very engrossing with many, many great lines of insightful dialog that stay with one after the viewing. A superb show. I wish I could have stayed for another viewing. Perhaps later this week... Thanks for posting. New sub here.

So is this movie just lying some more and saying, thet did go to the moon, but they made this fake backup just incase the moon mission failed? Because noone has been to the moon because there is no moon, thats a hologram! I dare the reader to research this, instead of taking the easy way out and calling me names. Every the United States Government has been, they have bases and businesses there. If there was a moon, there'd be a godamn Walmart and McDonald's up there by now.

I understand the appeal this movie has, and I am definitely in the minority, but for me it didn’t click. The witty, wacky humour I enjoyed in the original seemed to be replaced by gross-out gags and shock humour. I also found the story incredibly overstuffed, underdeveloped and boring. Michael Keaton was awesome, the cast was great, and I loved the effects and set designs. As a whole though, I was disappointed. Great review!

100% agreed. Sometimes studios think just because the first movie was a hit the second one would be too but it isn’t. It’s over done and boring. I also think money becomes a factor.

Hey! I just found this video. Fist of all: they have renewed their contract as a group. Also, the name BLACKPINK was chosen by their label and the concept is of two sides, black, a more powerful and "swaggy" side, and pink, a more fun, sometimes emotional and vulnerable side. This is a very basic explanation of it. So songs like BOOMBAYAH, Pink Venom and How You Like That are from the "black" side and songs like Lovesick Girls, Ice Cream and Stay are from the "pink" side. The songs from "black" usually become more viral than the songs from "pink"
