Does ACC work in the city driving too? And how do you adjust the distance?

It works at lower speeds. We have used it going 35 mph. But not in stop and go traffic, so we don't know for sure if it would work in city traffic.

@ adjust the gap to be wide and test it at lower city speeds likely 45mph, or even 35 mph. This way you’ll have plenty of time to react if the vehicle isn’t stopped by the IACC

We have been watching a lot of your videos and we absolutely love them, very informative and light hearted fun! We are looking at the Pleasure Way vans what are your thoughts on the Ford Chassis vs The Mercedes? I know you guys are around a lot of people that have both. We are interested in the Plateau which has the Mercedes chassis,but we just don’t know. Thanks ahead for any light you can shine on the matter. 😊😊😊😊😊

Hello. It really is a split between Ford Chassis vs The Mercedes. It will come down to what you prefer. We went with Ford chassis because we have never owned a vehicle that uses diesel. We have heard of people with a diesel engine that mistakenly put regular gasoline into the diesel engine and the RV / camper van then had to be towed. We went with Ford because we can easily find a Ford dealer wherever we travel to get service done. Getting an oil change is very reasonable, less than a hundred dollars. You don't have to service Mercedes engines as often but the cost is usually a thousand dollars or more. Friends we have that have Mercedes chassis really love their Mercedes , although some have reported some electrical issues. We have had backup camera recalls and a few others things with our 2023 Ford Transit(2024 OnTour 2.0). But so far we have been very happy with our Ford Chassis.

hi guys, i loved this video, i have visited FOY several times now in my PW Tofino, and going back again next month..all the way from Canada, we use FOY as our rest stop before heading to Baja, and stay again on the way out, love it there, our friends from Oregon loved it so much they bought a house there. we will check out Buckshot after seeing this.

Correct for our 2021.5 model. We don't have to do that anymore with our 2024 model because it comes with its own battery warming pad.

There are sensors that are behind the windshield at the top center, and in a very heavy rain, or if driving into direct sunlight late in the day, the Adaptive Cruise Control will go off-line, due to the rain or the direct sunlight hitting the windshield and overpowering the sensors. It returns once the rain lessens, or the sun goes down further.

Do you like having a generator back up or would you prefer an extra 600ah battery if that were possible? Has servicing the generator been easy?

We can go several days on our 600ah batteries, so we don't feel we need more. We like having the generator, as It makes us more flexible. We can run the generator to top off the batteries if needed. We always prefer to connect to shore power when possible, of course. We have had no service servicing the generator. Once a year we have the oil changed, at Oro Ford in Tucson Arizona, for less than $50. Prices varies, be sure to call around for prices. We heard that Cummins will charge around $250 to change the oil....yikes !!

@@stephenstringer3689 Yes , that is still recommended. However, we are not good at remembering to run it once a month, but so far so good! It’s still working and it has not complained.

We solved the bathroom door problem by removing it and adding a curtain. We hemmed it to the correct length and have a tie back for it when not in use. It is so much easier with the door gone. We still have privacy with the curtain closed.

Mary, thank you for all of your years of service in nursing and now training paramedics and hospice. My daughter just graduated from nursing school and I am so proud of her.
