Long story, I discovered lofi hip hop/chill hop when i was still in middle school through youtube recomendation so basically my early teen years was spent hooking up on random lofi tracks i found, I remember I'd spend my days listening to stuffs like these when I walk to school, during school recess, even on vacation I brought my lofi hip hop playlist with me, it was like a whole memory lane to me. And sometimes, I happened to stumbled across lofi hip hop track on youtube with cowboy bebop visual, like edit, or just an attached picture along with the track, there were like alots of cowboy bebop reference in these tracks that I didn't even bother to care about since i was too busy enjoying the music (eye of truth is an example btw). And so years passed by, my music taste changed drastically as i grew older, that at some point I listened to lofi hip hop less and less. This year, I got bored so I decided to watch some old animes, and cowboy bebop was one of them, and after watching the show, I kinda grew obsessed with it. Not even that, because of the show, I started to dig back to my old lofi hip hop playlists to find all the cowboy bebop edits i saved here and woah boy, I really didn't expect this series to take me back to my younger years, it's truly a magical feeling, yet bittersweet. So it's like discovering lofi hip hop in middle school got me hooked up on cowboy bebop (but sadly i was too busy with school works then to even watch the series) and now funny enough cowboy bebop got me hooked on back to my old music taste, such a funny thing!
