Wont buy an Atrack or Ortleib again. The zips on the Atrack don't last, and once broken, ready for the bin.

This was really useful (even 5 years later) - thank you! I’m just wondering whether you’ve had a chance to use the 2.0 and have any thoughts, or whether you’ve used the black diamond Womens fast pack and have any thoughts on how they compare? Any insight appreciated 😊

The bag itself isn’t waterproof. Does the zipper really matter?
@squashhead137411 күн бұрын
The pack is probably water resistant where the zipper is a path of least resistant for water.
@hector529911 күн бұрын
@@squashhead1374 - I own one. The fabric of the pack does bead water. But the skirts of the zipper are porous. This is why OV doesn’t advertise the pack as waterproof. Nothing that can’t be solved with a liner, which I always use anyways.

I have one mini and three larger.. The smaller blade is superior in almost every useful aspect.. Most of the time we dont need a cutlass to trim up our 1 kilo monofilament fishing line or for cleaning a small trout.. sometimes more blade is too much blade for the job. But its still fun. l just bought the Full size USMC Red Spacer Kabar.. First class firearms quality machining on this knife.. Flawless.. The cross gaurd is a bit wider than the original, but also much sturdier.. I love the original shaped tip more than the Tanto tip. But i also like the serrated blades alittle more than straight edges.. Both are great. The smaller size is much more practical and useful for many people. And its a good size for young scouts to practice their new bushcraft skills..
