We were fortunate enough to hear Gene many times at Peter Schotts in Boise Idaho and at the St. Chapelle winery back in the day.....

I was in the audience, at a table near the front for this performance…actually the whole weekend. It was an amazing event! They had to tune the piano after every performance he hit those keys so hard! I was able to take a great photo of him with his arm pulled back just before he slammed those keys. We lost a great artist when we lost Gene Harris!

So glad for this recording of Gene Harris (the best Jazz/Blues pianist), playing “A Little Blues There” possibly the best blues/with chops” song ever. NO REALLY! Don’t even bother arguing 😠

As good as it gets

Not "another" masterpiece, the first masterpiece. One of the greatest pieces of creativity of all time.

He never equalled this album. Still in my mind after all those years.
