I recall years ago, going over to my parents house to visit. Mom seemed kind of frustrated, a little upset. I asked why and apparently she had heard on the News that some Mexican family was receiving normal American Benefits, she was angry at them. I told her, Mom, no, you're better than that! If you're going to be angry, then point it towards whoever "approved" it. The Family got it over on the system. Any parent knows as well as I do, if you and your family are fleeing, You Will do anything it takes to keep them safe. I don't look down on anybody seeking a better life. You can't help where you're born.

Re-watching this scene again, it explains one of the main reasons why there is so much corruption in these dudes.. it's because of the incompetency and the system : - The detective had his superiors pressuring him like crazy to catch this burglar for 12 months, a whole year... and when he does, after all that trouble, the stupid judge lets him go after a trick with a peanut butter... You can see the frustrating after laughing at the joke in his face at 2:45 "Never ever will do a day in prison"... And when Alonzo says give him credit and he deserves his freedom, he is looking at him "Think so ?" intimidating even Alonzo.. and he says that he will catch him by himself in will kill him...

The way he says " cash in an account ". He doesn't even look at Rodger as a human being. Just a thing that he can make money from. Those are the people you have to watch out for. A person who looks at other people as things.

It’s such a ridiculous misconception that it’s easy to get into a mental institution to avoid prison. For one thing, judges are never this stupid. Even if they were, they would still have an actual psychologist who would talk to the defendant one on one to determine if he understands right and wrong. The insanity defense actually working is pretty rare in general. A suspect also wouldn’t go to an institution and be cleared after a few weeks. They would stay there for years. They would stay for life if they killed someone. The conditions would be better than prison, but sure as hell would still be a nightmare. Even if a suspect managed to fool everyone to get admission, they would have to keep up the act for the duration of their time there. They could easily be determined to be fit for trial and go back to square one.
