I was 16 when I started listening to the beautiful voices of the Tavares I have had a love for them for many years I can’t wait till September I’m going to see them in the indigo o2 2022 ❤️

The Tavares Brothers received the RI Hall of Fame award in May of 2014.....same month as this. Then 3 months later Poocb had a stroke and Ralph came back to sing after 30 year absence. Chubby sounds fabulous. 👌

He had a song called Sticks and Stones which was also a video that I would watch on the BET video countdown in the very late 80's I believe which was an EXCELLENT video!! I loved it!! My mother(RIP), who LOVED the late, great Sam Cooke and I could not believe how much he resembled and sounded like him in that video.I was even convinced that he was Sam Cooke's son LOL.. He put so much energy in that video and the little kids in the video were cute too. A very underrated artist.

El Vez is Lord. I've seen him many times, the greatest show I ever saw was at The Troubador in Los Angeles at Christmas, 1998. Literally, the greatest show fucking ever.
