Dude was pretty much correct with the lyrics. Record companies still exist, but physical media is basically fed dead.

Spend all your time waiting For that second chance For a break that would make it okay There's always some reason To feel not good enough And it's hard at the end of the day I need some distraction Oh a beautiful release Memories seep from my veins Let me be empty Oh and weightless and maybe I'll find some peace tonight In the arms of the angel Fly away from here From this dark cold hotel room And the endlessness that you fear You are pulled from the wreckage Of your silent reverie You're in the arms of the angel May you find some comfort here So tired of the straight line And everywhere you turn There's vultures and thieves at your back And the storm keeps on twisting You keep on building the lies That you make up for all that you lack It don't make no difference Escaping one last time It's easier to believe In this sweet madness Oh this glorious sadness That brings me to my knees In the arms of the angel Fly away from here From this dark cold hotel room And the endlessness that you fear You are pulled from the wreckage Of your silent reverie You're in the arms of the angel May you find some comfort here You're in the arms of the angel May you find some comfort here

I remember when she said she wrote this song for Jonathan Melvoin - keyboardist from the Smashing Pumpkins - after he OD’ ed on heroin. Although I’ve always LOVED her music, it didn’t mean much to me on that level at the time. Fast forward ten years I was in the throes of my own opiate addiction and almost died in a call room two different nights. I’m an anesthesiologist who had easy access to the “good stuff”. Only for the grace of God I woke up with a tied-off tourniquet and the needle still stuck in my arm. Here I am ten years later in recovery. Thank you, Sarah, for all you’ve done.

*The Path of the Deer, the Fox, and the Hawk* " Immortality, the Way, and the Light" The awful truth is that to most, life is an endless cycle of abuse that draws you in further and further. To those on top of the food chain, life is a paradise of clarity and knowledge. The only way to transcend a lower portion of the food chain is through the right information, thus escaping the vicious cycle of tragedies. This is the Way and the Light. Tragedies become resurrected ghosts, returning to a site of tragedy again and again to resolve their issues or make them worse. This is the true nature of Immortality. See* Revelations. Humans are mirrored by animals and each person has a guiding way and spirit animal. Legal professions, mathematicians, or engineers are often wolves, lions, or carrion birds which requires the pursuit of occupation and money. Dogs are just a little more domesticated. Elephants, donkeys, bears, and bulls, you get the picture. Apes, monkeys, baboons? Those are closer to the gods and will tempt you up a tree or scatter paper on your heads. Cats are evolved from monkeys. Been there. I'll resign instead to a snake. Adam? Adam doesn't yet understand. Men usually resign to setting traps like retail stores or with musical instruments or try and build things but don't do it well. They're always looking for sheep and cows and chickens. Adam is blind. Eat the fruit! Adam works much in the way a complex Greek metalworking toy calls down Celestial Beings into the Earth, only with a perfect body. You don't necessarily have to succumb to Adam, we just enjoy the body that much. I believe through my own conjecture that Jesus was summoned by Earthly gods through complexity and waited for as a Celestial Being to be born, then crucified in order to provoke a returning that would bring a light show or Apocalyptic war like a joke for the gods. This tradition may date back to Ancient Druid people then passed along by word of mouth to various kingdoms making it difficult to trace. This tradition may also be still used today at places like the CERN Laboratory. This tradition, I believe, is very innate to mankind. People trapped in vicious cycles are often in similar situations to the gods, who are like spirits beyond the call of these rituals, and succumb to predator sacrifices that trap them in their vicious cycles through unwariness. This cycle is intrinsically linked to one's summoning which is about one's weakness and temptation which gives rise to birth and/or rebirth and becomes part of one's bloodline and genetics. These sacrifice rituals can gain momentum like a tornado pulling many into their wake and become fed by both blood and sexual activity, spiritual darkness, arcane knowledge, and drug use which become like a magnetic charge. If there is a way to diffuse one of these I'm not aware of it. They are simply phenomenon like galaxy clusters. -Francis Sooner Good luck!

Dear reader , I don’t know you and you don’t know me . Probably we are not even living in the same country . We look different . You may be older than me or younger . We are just completely strangers . But there are a few things which connect us . We are humans . We have emotions and feelings . A personality which defines us . And we are both on KZbin , searching for sad songs, no matter why. Please, if you read this. No matter what's going on in your life at the moment ,you can do it ! You can manage out if it, you will stay strong because there are people who love you ! And these people are worth it. Yes, we are strangers but not too far away from eachother to not say that you are a great person !!! Because you are ! I hope even if it’s just one of you, that I could help or support you in a way . This comment is for all the lonely people out there

Here I am, with all the pleasures of the first world laid out before me Who am I to break down? Every day I wake up I choose love, I choose light, and I try Too easy just to fall apart Oh my baby don't be so distressed We're done with pulley tests It's time to be so brutally honest about The way we think, we long for something fine When we pine for higher ceilings And bourgeoisie happy feelings 'Cause here we are, The center of the first world It's laid out before us Who are we to break down? Every day we wake up, We choose love, we choose light, and we try Too easy just to fall apart We're not living a good life unless we're fighting a good fight You and me just trying to get it right We're the center of the first world It's laid out before us, who are we to break down? Every day we wake up, we choose love, we choose light And we try Too easy just to fall apart Love can free us from all excess, from a deepest debt 'Cause when our hearts are full we need much less Yea, I know we long for something fine When we pine for higher ceilings, and bourgeoisie happy feelings But here we are, the center of the first world It's laid out before us, who are we to break down? Here we are, the center of the first world Who are we to break down? Every day we wake up, We choose love, we choose light, and we try Too easy just to fall a- Every day we wake up, We choose love, we choose light, and we try Too easy just to fall apart Ooooooh, aaaaah ooh Ooooooh, aaaaah ooh

Thanks post malone for reminding me of this gem. I cant help but think that no matter how much u try to keep memories intact whether adding a song in a playlist so it never be forgotten or listening to a song so many times u think u’ll never forget. Life goes on and it just disappears. I know i listened to this A LOT but damn i forgot the fuck out of it all with everytime, day and detail i was living while listening to it.
