Nice video. We got ours last fall, finally got a chance to use it a month ago. We thought the pump was down 100' but it was down 200' on 1 1/4" steel pipe. The pitless released without any assistance. Great machine. A bit of learning curve. We got to use it a couple weeks ago again when the ground was too soft to get the truck to it. Took our time and left the ohm meter hooked up to the wires to find a nick in a wire. That one was down 250' on 1" poly. It's not going to take long for this machine to pay for itself.

You're cruising right along there! Hy-tran is good stuff! We get it by the bucket. Got a truck with an 80 gallon hydraulic tank. Filled it almost 20 years ago with 303 bulk. Love the cabletool rigs. I grew up on my grandfather's Standard Rig and National Machine drilling gas wells in Western PA. Nothing like swinging a 45' stem with a 200' cracker getting the double shuffle and hanging on the temper screw on the end of a walking beam . Those rigs were so nice and quiet . Thank you for the videos you have posted. I have a question about screen-setting on my project. Do you think it would be ok to bump the pipe back down if I believe I pulled the pipe back a little too far and exposed the screen to too much clay? I have pumped out 1,000s of gallons of muddy water which will clear up a bit if I slow the pumping rate down. Well seems to be capable of 4gpm of very muddy water and is currently clearing up alot by slowing pumping rate down to 1&1/3 gpm. I have a very small vein of decent looking sand i set the screen in and I think I pulled the casing back a little further than I should have and want to try bumping the casing down around 6" to see it that helps the water clear up. thanks again
@69druth Жыл бұрын
Yes we have done that a few times just tap it down slow if you can. If you have water coming through screen you could fill it with pea stone. But could be coming in over top of packer. Measure your hole and compare with casing. If I am not sure on a hole I will use a longer lead pipe when setting. Don't lose any sleep over it it happens to the best of us. Good one today on a site replacing a 290ft well drilled in the 90's with a dual rotary we 10 feet away from it and set a 30 slot screen at 84ft and well producing 40- 50 gpm good ole 22W.

@69druth Жыл бұрын
@@richardprosser1006 These will pull everything out. 6 in hole with 4 in bailer we will bail 2-3 times and hole dry. They will plug in gravel and if we can't shake it out we wrap the cable around the dart and flip it over and beat on it. Generally when this happens the end is near. lol. I got a question for you.
