Cameron, you said every week the hymn “This is my story”. Is requested. many of us have stories of Jesus and how he effected our lives. Just as there are many interesting stories of Christian hymn writers. That’s so inspirational. One hymn “almost persuaded” is Similar to the story in the Bible Acts 26 :24-29 Paul tried to persuade King Agrippa to become a Christian. The king was so convicted but refused. Another quick story. A boy went to church and was convicted to give his life to Jesus so he did. He asked his friend to go to church with him and the boy said; not today. He hadn’t heart from his friend so he went to his home. The mom says he had pneumonia. The boy asked would you like to receive Jesus today he said, No, not today. The friend went back another time, this time the boy had double pneumonia. He asked again would you like to receive Jesus ? No, not this time. The friend went back a week later and it was too late. The boy passed away. Jesus said today is the day of your salvation tomorrow has no guarantees. So many hymns speak gospel truth and we love them. God bless you! .
