Yeah I think the NBC article is terribly written, so much is wrong with stuff, and the pics don't do a lot of the mascots justice (like Vucko, the Snowlets and The Fuwa). Great attempt at trying though. Also side note about disability: The phryge isn't the first to have a mascot with disability, 1992 brought us Petra, a girl with no arms, and 2 years later we got Sondre, a one legged troll. They probably phased out the disability part probably to be more inclusive...or not end up hindering the designs. And regarding the 4-5 mascots, they have some meaning to them, namely the snowlets have 4 becuz there are 4: -years between each games -elemenys they represent While there are 5 fuwa because theere are 5: -Olympic rings -elements in Chinese alchemy And the word pun ("北京欢迎你", Beijing welcomes you)
