Hi Pammuji, thanks for sharing. I have a some Qs. 1. Do you carry your own WC everywhere or do you hire one at these tourist spots? 2. How easy and WC friendly is the Taj Mahal and some of the other famous places like FP Sikri? And how easy it is to get a WC at these places? 3. As such my dad doesn’t need a WC at home but if you suggest I should get a travel-friendly one, would you be able to suggest any foldable and comfortable one which we can carry everywhere during our short holidays? Thanks in advance.

Is there any slopes in bus where wheelchair can get in? If not then how wheelchair users who cannot get up are supposed to travel?

I am so sorry you must be wondering why I am replying so late but just saw the message so basically the Zoological Park is very wheelchair friendly even the mini train they take you in is wheelchair friendly but to get there you would have to get into a private vehicle I am not aware of any public transport that would be wheelchair friendly. As for your answer that how do wheelchair users get into a bus when I travel to other countries the buses are wheelchair friendly the driver comes down opens the RAMP let's you get in and then closes the RAMP after making you comfortable in the bus. I think they have started this service even in some places in Mumbai.

Do the helicopter take ur wheelchair aswell....do they charge extra.... what was the distance the guy carried u??

I am so so sorry for replying so late but if it could be of help to any other readers for future... yes they did help me to take my wheelchair which was the manual wheelchair in the helicopter they even helped to get me into the helicopter by picking me up and then the wheelchair was taken by the Doli guys. I hired four people to take my wheelchair to the Mandir it is about 3 km of a walk/ride
