Gotta check out the other band members previous broken up band, ISIS (named after the Egyptian Goddess.) I recommend the song So Did We.

I’m sorry but Danny Carey is way better than 2. He has much more experience and just has way more influence and has created a genre of the best drumming around. 2 is fucking amazing, but he needs a lot more years under his belt to even hold a candle next to Danny Carey.

Chevelle came out in the 2000s. This album came out in the mid 90s. What do you think?

you have a dead pixel in the middle of all your videos ive seen so far. It scared the crap out of me cause i thought it was my new oled, but no it was u😅 That aside, you are really going to enjoy discovering Tool. The crazy thing is you can keep discovering the same songs over and over in different ways, so it never ends

The kick drums, Danny’s footwork on this song is faint but every time I hear them it’s incomparable to anything I’ve ever heard like the complexity and time changes. Maybe keys/stoned is as if not a little more complex.

Saw this live. That first note, the whole crowd gasped. It was silent for a good 30 seconds. Mystical.

I realized the part of the all the instruments has differents rythyms, the drummer is using eighth notes, bass quarter notes and the guitar half notes, I have heard this song for years and is the first time I'm catching up because your comment and I have been watched a lot of reactions and seems nobody had caught before :O I'm blow it away of this craziness, after all this years i still finding new things on this song, this is a truly masterpiece... Buenisimo

You are 3 songs away to realize that tool is the best band that ever existed! And that is a real big statement! Next heard aenema, and take time to lateralus

Hearing this live on the last tour was UNBELIEVABLE. On the intro, Justin's bass sounded like 100 basses at once. It was massively thick and atmospheric and I thought we were going to drown in the sounds. The perfect sonic metaphor for a flood.

This is currently the star of this album for me... maybe it will change but this song really does tell a story.

I have a checkered history with this album; recorded Sober off a chart shoe in 93, no idea who they were. Bought Ænima in 97, loved it, not realising it was the same band. Was curious, so investigated their previous album in 98. *Holyfuck, it's THAT band! Unfortunately, I'd missed their concert in 97 by a couple of weeks!

I'd dare to say the majority consensus is for not doing a video for Disgustipated. It's very long and mostly full of 'noise'...LOL!! See ya' at their next album, Aenima!! ❤🔥

It is difficult to say what is my favourite Tool song from each album because that song can vary by the hour. But Flood has had a very special place in my heart from the first time I heard it. :)

Leo, go watch Rick Beatos new interview with Maynard. It's really amazing. Lots of process explaining for all 3 of his bands. You'll appreciate it.

I appreciate Undertow more and more. I hear bits and pieces of what yet’s to come-like Adam introducing triplets or something over the melody. It keeps getting tastier.

MORE DEFTONES PLEASEEE!!!! i love just watching you illustrate the music by gesture. i HEAVILY recommend *Fireal (best together with Fist)*, my favourite Deftones song ever. in my opinion its their best album closer and kinda feels like the grandfather of Pink Maggit. speaking of, you would also definitely enjoy the *Pink Maggit Intro / Demo Live at Convention Hall 1998*, listening to that was the only time i actually felt high from music.

“And still, it wasn’t enough to make you say: What would you do if you weren’t afraid?” Those words have stuck with me ever since this album debuted. To truly appreciate this song entirely you have to let the reprise play afterwards every time, mandatory.

Leo at some point you need to check out Tools joke track Maynard’s Dick. Spoilers it’s intentionally 4/4 as a joke of modern rock all being 4/4. Also it’s a banger of a song.
@Gideonite14 күн бұрын
I love the implied meaning this might be about butt sex. Or growing up, either way is great. Maynard claims it’s not sexual but then goes on how the “cavity” is 4 degrees warmer. If someone is laying on their back you need about 4 degrees to find the treasure hidden below. 😂

Yes! One of my favs 🤘🌀 FYI: I don't think it's on my end, but the song audio quality in this particular video is less than previous tool videos ( your voice audio is fine, just the song audio) Edit: Oh! After 11:03 the Song sounds great for the rest of the vid
