Is there a welshman on earth that can't sing ? I've never heard one sing badly. That was lovely . P.S I'm (dare i say it after the last 6 nations!) irish .

Last evening I spent the evening with my friends who had come to visit me here i Cornwall our conversation turned to Welsh music Choirs and singers my favourite I said is Mafanwy by the Treorchy male voice choir, this morning I find this version which has blown me away , what a voice Nigel Owens has here with the fabulous Dowlais Choir , this is the first time I have heard them , it won’t be the last .

I would love to hear these men sing songs that the Israeli orthodox sing , .im sure these voices are connected by ancestry to the choirs of The Jewish Temple , which was ruined by Rome . The Hebrew people were taken captive, many slaughtered but a remnant became slaves and were shipped to work the tin mines and copper mines of Britains coast , Wales has a language that is closest to Hebrew of all languages, No finer voices in the world than the Levite voices of men , both in Israel and Wales . THEY stir the soul deeply,Its a GOD THING , GOD BLESS THE TRUTH SEEKERS , ❤ FROM NZ❤

Scotland needs a decent Anthem. The Welsh already have a world beater. Would they lend is this?

One of the most beautiful, saddest and poignant love songs and a lovely job by Nigel Owens and Dowlais Male Voice Choir. Diolch yn fawr.

These boys are great, it also reminds me of when in the army at Brecon and going on foot up Dowlias hill toward Tredegar, hoping for a lift to where I lived, and on a Sunday morning. The Dowlais chapel congregations were 'in full song' and as I walked up over Dowliais Hill I could hear the singing, from each chapel, as if to out-do each other. A lovely memory for mine , I was 18, and it was a warm June day in 1956.

We would have to scout the whole of Australia to find this many fantastic male singers and they would probably have Welsh genes!! Keep singing Wales. Aussies love it.

Best performance I ever have in my 81years heard. The usual near inaudible roar of bottom bass, is in this performance so nicely balanced with the more prominent alto, and not least the perfect Ballard voice of Mr Owen to capture the pathos. Well done and much thanks.
