Chris Pratt was playing a guy who not only had the love of his life die, but then when a version of her came back, she walks away and wants nothing to do with him. As someone who has experienced my ex-wife telling me she didn't love me anymore and then choosing to leave me without giving me a choice in the matter, I have to say that Pratt nailed his performance. He was showing us the feeling of just being checked out of life and emotionally numb. Then, while he's going through that, one of his best friends is going to die. So that rekindles a bit of his former self out of necessity in order to pull himself together enough to save his friend. He nailed his performance in this, so give him some credit. It's hard to understand the subtle nuances of his performance if you haven't felt what he's felt, or at least something close.

Wow, what a find this was! Amazing podcast, guys, and some really astute observations. Amazing where a KZbin spiral will land you. The Spielberg analogy was spot on, I’d never noticed that but it’s absolutely right. It was great to listen to a podcast that wasn’t about tearing something apart. Great work! Annnnnd subscribed!

There are over 2000 movies made in India every year, in many different languages. Whatever you read about stereotypes of Indian movies, ignore it. There are movies made in every genre, over the top and very grounded, commercial and arthouse, etc. Any generalization that "all Indian movies are..." a certain way is almost certainly wrong.

Loved this review! ❤. RRR is the Best Movie of the Year perhaps of all time❤️🔥🌊. After a very very very f-ing long time I got to see Men Actually being Men in a Movie!. SS Rajamouli the Director is a gift to the world of Cinema and the special cameo of him in the end credits dance number is truly legendary. God Damn I absolutely love RRR! ❤️‍🔥.

Wonderful commentary! The experience is even better in the theater. I heard Rajamouli was pissed that Netflix chose Hindi instead of original language Telugu. We should also see you guys on KZbin!

Blood flowing though the Raju's eyes wasn't CGI. Confirmed by DOP on twitter. The original language is Telugu, not Tamil. Indian movies are usually a mix of genres, hence referred to as the "masala" genre. Waiting for your take on Baahubali series. :)

This podcast is the best most entertaining. I would rate them 5 stars if I could because I listened more to this than my own teachers. It kept me so entertained for 2 days. I have never watched the movie before but with this podcast I feel like I watched the movie. TWO CHUNK AND HUNK IS AMAZING!

The old man is piglet. Fun fact, Eartha Kitt won two Daytime Emmy's for reprising Yzma in the TV Spin off, which was also one of her last roles with the finale airing in fall 2008. And it's Junior Chipmunks.

Hey... got recommended to this channel by a guy named Blake. He says that the guy all the way to the right (with the short hair) is his Pastor. Not sure if he’s telling he truth but yeah. Like the video... I’m a bit surprised you only have 102 subs! Well; 103 now because I just subbed but still. Good luck with your upcoming videos!
