Sadly soon all combustion cars including classics will be banned from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-( In Germany the Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated central gas station per city or county. Now they want to slow down all the gas station pumps from 20 litre per minute to 2 litre per minute...From 2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be done in oil burning cars any longer....They even created a new kind of crime here, called emissions and smoke crime.!!!!

I know if my dad had sold his Model A when I was 5, I'd be looking for it too. He's had it since he was 13 and been working on it for 42 years now. It's got a custom tube frame, suspension and breaks off a 96 Mustang GT, a Ford 5.0, a 4 speed automatic, and 392 gearing. This winter, I wanna surprise him by getting the intake swap done, porting the heads, finishing the body work, and painting it. He helped me build my dream car from the ground up and I wanna get his done for him. I want him to be able to drive it and enjoy it at least a little bit before his health gets worse.

Bought a 66 Corvair Monza Sedan in 1969 for 600.00. It got me through student teaching and my first teaching job. I’m looking to buy another one.

During my high school days I drove my 65 Corvair , it was a yellow cream and black interior, gas was cheap used to fill up ,regular full tank for 3.75 back in the 70s. Wide treads and baby moons it handled like a race car, never had a problem, still feel sorry for sailing it!

I was born in Ann Arbor, but raised/lived in Ypsilanti, MI. Corvairs are an addiction, for sure. Like Lays potato chips, no one can have just one. lol This woman is so very typical of Corvair owners, in that she likes the uniqueness/eccentricities of the car. I own a '65 Monza and love driving that car. I have to plan my trips/excursions w/ plenty of wiggle room for all of the attention the car gets. A normal trip to the grocery store can turn into a several hour excursion w/ all of the questions and such. lol The most common question I hear is, "Why did you put the engine in back?" When I reply that was done at the factory their heads just spin, due to their lack of historical back-story about the Corvair. Great cars and the people that drive them are pretty cool, too.
