Moët & Chandon Brut Imperial used to be known as "White Star". The famous White Star line of Ocean Liners (including the Titanic) served it as the :House Champagne in the first class section of their ships. It has remained very consistent over the years, and represents a really good value.

This is very true my old wine glasses were more of a water goblet and you can taste the wine but if you know it was kind of blah. I picked up some new tapered wine glasses that have a larger bowl and a smaller opening where you're sipping from it and the wine tastes so much better

don't forget you want to hold it by the stem so you can swirl it and let the inert gasses escape from the wine which makes it taste better. this is especially true if it's an older wine that's been corked for a long time.

If I’m not mistaken I don’t think the US stores carry the Dolche sweet sparkling that you tasted.

There is something I saw in one of travels to Spain, I don't recall when, but they mixed red wine with coke and ice; I believe it's called kalimotxo. Perhaps an episode with unusual combinations with wine. I love all the videos made by your company, all very educational and fun
@wineryph7 ай бұрын
Yes, the Kalimotxo is a very popular cocktail in Spain! Thank you so much for the suggestion

Not interesting u ruin the beauty of serving wine, add info of your intention ❤
@roboticcavalier30657 ай бұрын
yeeeaaahhh...gonna have to disagree. I love ice in white, and when it's hot, I might just put a single cube in red. I am in Queensland, Australia. I do agree with the idea of enjoying it how the winemaker intends, and that's where I learned my ice habits, so if i'm wrong, so are they. If i'm in air-conditioning then it's all good by itself. I think you made a good video, but all of the 'exceptions' to the rules really proves that the rules are flexible
@wineryph7 ай бұрын
That's true! Though it may also depend on what you actually want from your wine. If your intention is to enjoy it, then it doesn't actually matter: you're the one drinking it, so it's fine! But if you really want to taste the wine and get exactly what you're paying for, then it really would be a waste to add an ice cube
@IHATENOTIFICATIONS7 ай бұрын
All this I information is true, but if you aren't enjoying your wine because the temperature is too warm, just add ice. Italians add ice to their red wine when it's too warm. If Italians do it, then it's fine for me!
@wineryph7 ай бұрын
There are definitely exceptions to the rule! French people do it with rose in the summer, too! Perhaps a better way to approach it would be to say that adding ice to your wine is fine, but it shouldn't be the default. And that's especially true when you really want to taste your wine!
