Heard a message some years back from a mom about her dying teenage son. While he laid in bed with a terminal illness, his mom said why do you listen to this loud Christian Rock music, you need to rest. I believe he was listening to Radio U they said. He looked at his mom and said, "mom, it's the only thing keeping me going, I need it". She of course agreed. I started listening to Christian Rock about 1980. Back then, it was Resurrection Band (REZ Band), Servant, Steve Taylor and Sweet Comfort Band. The music changed my life. Now in my 60's Christian Rock dominates my listening still. I just have way better equipment.

Let me start off by saying that scriptures instructs us to use righteous judgement, and Jesus also said that we would know them by their fruits. Only a very few of the music artists shown here are actually living the Christian lifestyle. Some here have been heard using F bombs, some here find no problem with same sex marriages, some here have divorced and remarried, some here are okay with the homosexual lifestyle and cannot tell you where in the Bible it says that it's a sin, and some here do not even mention the name of Jesus or Christ in their "Christian" songs. In general, many here are living a politically correct liberal lifestyle in order not to lose fans, which equates the lose of financial gains. 1 John 2:16-17: "For all that is in the world-the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life-is not of the Father but is of the world."

I lost my mom this week. I know all too well the pain your heart feels. I don't know if my heart will ever recover from this great of a loss. Mom died 11-9-2024. GOD knows I miss my mom.

I remember going to Belmount on Easter 1972. The couple who ran the bookstore invited everyone to come to their wedding. Some were elderly and in suits, some wear variations of the hippy uniform.
