We didn’t wrap Christmas morning gifts. They were from Santa and were laid out in Iiving room. So no big mess with wrapping paper and boxes. Im old so no more NYE parties. Lol. Love your videos!!!

Good to see you all had a nice Christmas. As far as gift giving, we spend the same amount on all 4 of our kids. They are spread out a bit in age, 6 years between #1 and 2, 4 years between #2 and 3 and 2 years between #3 and 4. I don't think age should matter in how much you spend, but I feel like it should be as equal as possible.

My Christmas Eve & Christmas was good. I went to my boyfriend's house on Christmas Eve after he went to work that day. Christmas Day, I had stuff with my family then my boyfriend came over and opened some gifts my family had for him then we went to his mom's house for dinner and hung out before going to work the day after Christmas. I didn't expect my dad to get a great Christmas present this year.❤❤❤

Great video. Never think that you have to get your oldest less because of his age. All my kids are grown, and we have grandchildren, and we never worry about not giving them too much. Finances always dictate how much but age never dictates how much. We were lucky to be able to splurge this year. Your children are always your children, no matter how old they are. Get a couple of, rectangular, decorative baskets for your counter by your sink, to put your papers and stuff in. When they get full go through and empty them. In the meantime, things always look neat.

I remember my childhood Christmases to be made up of lies.. :( my dad wouldn't let us celebrate at all.. no tree, no gifts except for my brother who got a gift... my friends would ask what I got for Christmas and I was so embarrassed to say I didn't get anything that I would lie and tell them all the things I would love to have...my mother cried every year at Christmas..but she would make a delicious dinner..my dad was very mean...

They might be too young and too "boy"-ish to notice now, but you are absolutely giving them a gift. The gift of a calm mom who worked her butt off to regulate herself and her space in order to be more present for them, and the gift of a clean and calm space for them to live and play in. They won't notice it much now, but they absolutely will when they are older. ❤
