Ah is capacity. Not output current. I don’t see the purpose of this. You’re basically just limiting your battery on 4ah. Why would you want to lower you battery’s capacity?

The Milwaukee will outlast and out preform the ozito. And no there not even close to the same. ALWAYS remember you get what you pay for.

And please also keep in mind that there are 3 different categories of Einhell: TC, TE and TP, at least here in Europe. Greetings from Germany, Tom 🙋🏻‍♂️

I’ve been using this saw for a few years now. It’s enough to cut most Timbers like plinths, Pailings, decking and framing timber not enough for heavy or large posts. I find the original blade is the best one. It’s very light and cuts fast. This blade is a special order item. Surprisingly even though it lacks power compared to corded or more expensive products, have found myself getting it out for all kinds of jobs. Good for trimming work aswell for window frames and skirting.

There was a guy flogging these on Gumtree about 12 months ago for $100 but I didn't have the coin available. Fun Fact: I got a 125mm Orbital 18v Ozito sander and the 4Ah battery wouldn't fit into it without a bit of mild violence. Is the 6Ah the same size as the 4Ah? I never got a 5.2Ah when I did have the $$$ available due to having purchased the 2 x 4Ah battery package and basically got another charger for free.

I got the 115mm for the low $59 price because the 125mm brushed version was $109 so quite a difference. As of 13 September 2023 the brushless 125mm was $159 so quite a big jump. However I took the 115mm back because the guard wouldn't mount in the correct orientation. The head plate (?) had been assembled 180° out of whack and the two others that were checked were the same. I could have easily changed it but would have screwed my 5 year warranty so nah, returned it instead. I got upgraded to the 125mm at a reasonable price. I wish I has the $$$ to be able to purchase the brushless tools but there is quite a difference in price between the two.

It's now 2023 and I got one of these. The bevel lock is now a piece of crap due to it not really locking it. The saw body can move through to 45° without unlocking it. I didn't force it and found out this happened when I was snapping the plastic guide in and was being careful doing it because the reviews all mention that it could be easily broken. I like that Ozito have a *5 year warranty* on all these 18V battery tools but only 3 years on tools that have the electrickery cable on them. The 18v battery only has a 3 year warranty and the are disportantly expensive compared to the mainstream brand ones. I hope you have done a video on the electric planer because I would like to get a spare set or two of the blades. Doing the _Special Orders_ through Bunnings make it seem that they are made from Unobtanium. I wanted to get a spare Collet(?) for the Multi-tool because if you dropped it it was as good as lots but a simple one piece pressed metal "washer" was going to cost $18 from them. End up getting 5 pieces of them on Ebay instead and paid $12. Then found out if I used attachments with the Standard fitting instead of the Universal one that I didn't need to use the Collett. 🤦‍♂

There just isn't any science in that. I love ozito but the only way to make a 6 ah battery into a 4 ah is to take cells out or cook them. And a 4ah battery will put out 4amps for an hour or two amps for two hours etc. Maths. A six amp hour battery will put out two amps for three hours etc . Maths again. What would be the point of making it into 4ah?
@justbuildit686
@justbuildit686 Жыл бұрын
These batteries are built in series parallel so it would be possible to run all cells as 4amp with the right control module. They are claiming that on 4amps it will extend the life of the battery over all. Time will tell. But I’ll stick with the 6amp power. However I will run some tools on both 4 and 6amps just to test it out. Will get back to you.
@glenntreleaven4112
@glenntreleaven4112 Жыл бұрын
@@justbuildit686 I did some research and it appears they are just limiting the charge/discharge cycle for these batteries to make them last longer. Essentially if you want the higher ah rating you will over charge and over discharge them, shortening their life. Series parallel relates to the output voltage and since they are 18v and not multivolt like DeWalt gear that isn't really relevant here. 3.7 to 4.2 v per cell, parallel doubles the amps series doubles the voltage , so a normal drill battery will be 5 cells in series, paralleled twice or three times, so 10 or 15 cells.
@VX3800

The electronics would just isolate some of the cells to limit capacity which seems pretty pointless
@VX3800
@VX3800 2 күн бұрын
@@glenntreleaven4112just seen your reply. If you want 6ah you might as well just buy a 6ah battery if treating this one as 6ah is ‘shortening its life’. Seems dumb. I suppose there’s a little use in it for situations where you’re not gonna be able to charge the battery for a while but then again, you’d think you’d just buy a 6ah batt
