I bought gopro hero 2 and hero 3 black and now with total regret...product fail but marketing wins...will never look at their overpriced product again.

It is terribly disappointing and really only makes it usable for stills shots or shots from fixed mounts. If the app recorded locally it might possibly be useful, but essentially this preview feature is a silly parlour trick, and not very usable at all.
