Maybe try detecting very dedicatedly in a 5 metre radius around that hole. If nothing else , you won't be far from camp and snacks and refreshing beverage.

Nice one! Added to my E1500 playlist. That 12x7" Advantage is a very smooth running coil and only slightly behind the Sadie on sensitivity.

Two total different detectors made for different things The manticore would be gross in hot ground where e1500 would handle it nicely 😊

Hello dear Friend's. Where are the Goldfields in Charters Towers. Is it on a person's property. Been their do many times. Never could find anything except that infamous Youngs Block. Some metal scrap yards there. Shalom Glen

You just search the whole lot mate - they didn’t have metal detectors back then and a nugget could be anywhere at any depth

Great to see a vid we’re you show what it’s really like the other rubbish we watch not all of them but some of them every signal is a peice of gold in my 30 odd years of detecting this is not the case gold is very rare that’s why it’s worth so much I would imagine that in australia only 1 percent of detectorist have seen a peice of gold over 1 oz just good to see the hard work you have to put into it for results great vids
