As gorgeous as this is, a lot of new courses are all starting to look exactly like one-another. Same bunker style, same waste areas. The strategy and playability of the course should always remain the number one priority, but I'd like to see some of these up-and-coming architects stop emulating Doak and Coore and Crenshaw and strike out on their own with their own image, or try something different stylistically.

I caddie here!! Sick course! Fazio design, tough walk for a caddie... but the experience is worth it!! Great video my guy 👍🏾

Client of mine gave me a hat from here. He saw my golf collection in my office and ran out to his vehicle and returned with the hat from here. Wish I was able to play this. Until I do.. SV, champions, west lake and Aug CC is good for me! 😎 beautiful course though!

I used to play Seville in the mid '90's. It's only a few miles away from the old Seville, so it looks very similar to it. Seville was the hardest course I regularly played. I did play Copperhead once as a birthday gift from my step-dad.

Stunning flyovers and view captures. Pelican Hill - South, and Bighorn Golf Club - Mountains course would be quality Fazio and Arthur Hills additions.

Played here on my birthday this year. Can't be matched. Free round, free tacos at the turn and free cookies at the end where the CLEAN your clubs for you. The course is my new favorite. The greens are FAST and hard. Felt like PGA greens(Which I have felt) A++ course The drive is horrendous but once you're there, you won't be disappointed.

I would love to play here.. live a short drive away.. too far for a membership and finances not good enough to afford the $2k/guest round. Any current members want to make a new friend? 😅

It was an amazing course to play. Highly suggest playing if you are able to play it. Brooks was our caddie and did great showing us lines off the tee. It is a must to have someone show you the first time.

Cool setting and great video per usual, but clear outlier (in a negative way) in terms of the quality of courses on your channel. No width, unimaginative bunkering, small circular greens, basically featureless in terms of strategic design/options. Not the type of course I would enjoy playing.

Nice video (Liked) ! It does not look like anything special other than the likely need to need bug spray.

Played about a week ago. Will be a beautiful course once it matures. Greens are very difficult. Will need a caddie with local knowledge to help read them to score better.

Pine barrens was such a sick layout, it will take a few years for this to grow in fully and really mature. This new renaissance of golden age design is awesome but feels slightly gimmicky over the exact old bones of the Fazio gem. I’m surprised they didn’t route an entirely different layout. Shows you how good the routing was. You can’t tell me the new #4 is better, looks like the green was brought down at least 15 feet

Ya that hole I kinda missed the good light where the sun/shadows really show the dynamic elevation changes. That’s one of the only The Pit existing holes that were used, which gives it its own iconic feel to it

Someone is gonna need to break down #9 for me, it looks like a lame duck in the bunch.
@kenauman90964 ай бұрын
#9 green might be my favorite spot on the property. It juts out into a grassy area with infinity edges. When the natural grasses mature, I expect even better things. As for the golf hole, fairway is incredibly wide but to avoid side hill lies on the right and achieve best angle into the green, hit it left center. Lots of choices for 2nd shot depending on your length, angle and what you want to leave next. The visuals on the shot into the green are memorable, especially if you laid up to hit wedge. #9 works for me.
