I needed a concise summary . So, introductory needs a comma. I am learning this as a first-timer.

Thank you so much, I watch your video about shifting tenses, I am writing a novel in the present tense,(I keep having the tendency to go to the past tense) but I am having a hard time to find the "Odd Times" that the shift would be correct. should I always stay in the present? or is there a way I can check it, Thank you so much!

If your novel is written in the present tense, you should stay in the present tense unless you are narrating a flashback. I know it can be tricky keeping all verbs consistent. A shift in tense can run the risk of confusing the reader.

Dear Prof. Hannah, I was wandering if I might ask you a question. I do not understand the difference between these sentences: She is a brilliant, young woman. (with comma) She is a brilliant young woman. (without comma). Were I to ratiocinate in my own latin language, I would say the same. I do love the English language, strongly I do. I pay my respect to you. Andre

+Andrea Giraldo En She is a brilliant, young woman se esta haciendo una "lista" de 2 adjetivos para describir a la mujer, la coma indica esa suma de adjetivos. O sea "Es una mujer brillante y joven" En cambio en She is a brilliant young woman el adjetivo principal es brilliant, ya que young woman tiene que ver con la edad de la mujer y en este caso no se utiliza para describirla directamente, o sea que la oracion quedaria "Es una joven brillante" Espero haber aclarado tu duda :)

Do these rules vary at all in England? I know we do some things different. Im pretty sure that on the 10th rule, I was taught at school not to use punctuation where a joining word is used. That may be due to having a rubbish memory and was not actually taught that or that's just how it's done in America but not England. Cheers
