Oh Samantha you have really brought me back in time with all of your lavender and lace charts. There were only a couple of them that I had never seen. I used to own so many of those. When I learned to cross stitch I had the most wonderful cross stitch not to far from me and I spent so much time there. I thought I could stitch everything but of course I couldn’t. Thanks for taking me back in time. All of your stitching is so beautiful and your framed piece is so pretty too. You are a very happy person and it really does show on you and everything you do. Christmas movies are so fun. My favorites are The Santa Clause series, Christmas Carol the animated version with Jim Carrey, Charlie Brown Christmas, and of course, all the claymation movies! They are all fun. Enjoy your holidays and Merry Christmas.

My husband's grandmother had been stitching Ice Angel for my sister in law when she passed. When he and I started dating, they learned I knew how to cross-stitch - they still had the unfinished stitch and all the thread and beads and everything she'd put together for the project. I finished it for her, and thus began my love of linen stitching and Lavender & Lace.

I just Googled Needlepaints and there were a number of sites with information on conversions to DMC. (I didn't fully go down the rabbit hole to see if the site was still active, but one actually showed them for sale.) As others have mentioned, your Butternut Road pattern is Catch the Wind. My mother stitched it back in the day, along with many other MLI and NC patterns, but I can't remember where most of them went. I really wish we'd kept records or taken pictures, but it was largely before the digital camera/cellphone era and it just didn't occur to us. I'm glad stitchers today have so many media/opportunities to document their work. Who knows, maybe you daughters will one day far in the future watch your flosstubes and relive this other side of their mother! I hope you and your loved ones have a merry Christmas and happy and healthy 2025. 🎄💕

I didn't go through all your comments to see, but is it possible it is Needle Point (and not paint), like NPI (Needle point) silks? Might be worth checking.

I have the Alpine Seasons Garden and there is an Outlander addition to it. Also if you have trouble sourcing the beads and other supplies there is a US company called European Crosstitch Company. I got my supplies for Alpine and it took a few months for them source it but I got my order within 6 months. I can’t remember exactly

I'm currently stitching the butternut road "catch the wind" stitch that you rescued. I have started in the center with the girl in the green dress. She is almost finished. It is a wonderful relaxing stitch that I can't wait to see fully finished on my wall. I purchased the pattern at a local thrift shop for New Zealand $5.00.

Somehow I’ve ended up wit two copies of Cottage Garden Fairy and South Seas Mermaid. I was quite faithful to put in the App XStitch the charts I purchased but fell off the wagon so I didn’t remember purchasing those two. They were the first duplicates but I bet they won’t be the last 😂😂😂😂
