was there in the late 1990s into 2000s......beautiful grounds. very beautiful.......was not able to go inside. even though we were in Beverly Hills, it was quite and calm. a big mansion was being built next door.

Hobart is a relative of mine. I’m not sure what his title would have been, but I know my great grandmother was related to him in some way. Also the other person who said he was a relative, she is my 1st cousin once removed.

Thank you, very interesting, fascinating and educational! From what I've heard and read this hard core New Englander found that Beverly Hills was named after Beverly, MA? Unfortunately, "California is like a beautiful woman dying of cancer'..per the late great American actor/humanitarian Paul Newman who raised his family in beautiful Connecticut! Tend to agree with him! L.A. is way too over-developed, has too much congested traffic and lots of pollution along with a real affordable housing shortage/homelessness crisis along with intense heat waves and those wildfires due to Global Warming/Climate change which is real and not a "liberal hoax"! But, that housing/homeless crisis is "from sea to shining sea", only worst in California! Everytime I read about how the L.A. area used to smell of the famous lemon and orange groves in the past, I imagine how wonderful that must have been back in the day, far better than the smog/pollution and smoke from wildfires and then there are the mudslides not to mention the occasional earthquakes! There are pros and cons to every city and state so there is really no Utopia! Before cars/trucks there was the smell of horse dung and unpaved roads so it's about finding that balance between the pros and cons! ♥

I’m still a huge fan of his and Gracie’s years after they’re gone. Loved them both and so saddened that both of their children are gone as well. Time goes by much to quickly.

I grew up so close and only went once. What a shame. Marsha was fantastic and told me wonderful stories that day, oh the things I've taken for granted. So many years later I still have some of the classic blends she sold me, deep in my cellar. The Kramer legacy is currently alive and well if you search for their tobacco blends, and I am grateful for that. Seeing her here brings me great joy, and a few tears.

Wonderful glimpse into old Hollywood society. Funny though how old most of the stars are, middle aged or older. Very few of the younger crowd.

Hola...soy Jimmy y vivo en Mazatlán Sinaloa México...hace algunos años trabajé en el restaurante de Mark y David Mendelson, puedo decir que son muy buenas personas...recuerdo que el manager era Jow, también recuerdo a un cocinero de nombre Tilo...en realidad todos fueron muy buenos compañeros de trabajo...yo tuve que regresar a México por cuestiones personales, aunque me hubiese gustado seguir trabajando con ellos, les tengo un agradecimiento enorme...algún día iré a saludarles... si ellos ven este comentario les mando un gran abrazo y deseo que estén muy bien.
