Nixon was a prime example of the delusional state of public behavior in his era . . . and the failure of public behavior to turn from complicity with such global-wide non-sensical activity.

In reality Nixon debated the students for nearly an hour. It was entirely cordial, if somewhat bizarre. Nixon and many of the students came away crediting both sides.

"It's a civil war between Vietnamese?" Yeah, with Communist China and the USSR arming the expansionist North Vietnamese to annihilate the South Vietnamese! HIstorical revisionist and anti-American extraordinaire Oliver Stone deliberately omits the whole context. It's Leftist propaganda in movies like this that have created a sick brainwashed American population whose false beliefs are worse than ignorance.

I love this scene. The idea of screaming protestors actually quieting down and having a civil conversation. I feel like if MAGA or liberals actually tried to have a civil conversation, they couldn't do it.
